  1. There is always another way. I use proximity instead of on enter and 10-20ft then it doesn't matter if they are in the zone they just have to be close to it. if there is a cache involved then I use on enter for that zone. I have had people telling me that the phones seem to work better then the garmins too the processors are better and they have more memory
  2. I had this problem a long time ago with the maps try this thread #204 I think http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=242148&view=findpost&p=4502420

  4. I am looking to get a new droid phone my x2 has worked great for playing Wherigo's, I know people who have samsung and the gps is not good for playing wherigos. Anyone have sugestions on which 4g phone I should get?
  5. Abbot family, You need to use download all files when you do it asks you which directory you want to put it in find the whereyougo directoy and select it thats where they all go. Also you need firefox or dolphin the generic browser won't work
  6. If the cart was downloaded from the pc thru a cable I dont know, if they downloaded it from the web thru a browser it may not work I have only used firefox and it works fine but if I use the generic browser it wont work.
  7. To Download from the Wherigo website right to your phone use firefox app for driod, you will also need a app called download all files. Use the firefox browser (it will not work with the browser that came with the droid) other browser's may work also. When you click download at the Wherigo site select download all files then select the folder wheryougo at the bottom of the list. Then go play it. Thats it! Have Fun!
  8. Ok so there is a change with download all files? it won't allow you to put the file in the right directory. So I used the app called files selected sd card. selected download, selected the cartridge by holding my finger on it then a list came up I selected move, at the top I selected folder then selected whereyougo and clicked move and it worked try that
  9. In the apps menu if you have file manager you should be able to see the whereyougo folder? you do need the app download all files to be able to put the file in the whereyougo directory. You can also hook the phone to your computer and do it that way
  10. So this is how you shut down Disneyland. I wonder what the real terrorist's were doing while this was going on?
  11. Ok So does anyone know of a problem with the oregon 550t running the cartridges if the emulator and simulator are checked I just had someone play a cart and they said after the first zone it popped up and said they couldn't play?
  12. So What about the Alien higway helping the economy? I suppose that is bad also?
  13. And you can go to SirJ-Oz AKA John For all your problems
  14. It works fine on my computer with xp and there are no updates it runs on a remote computer. I believe youself maintains it and he will see your post here
  15. here is how to do it with a android straight from the internet with out the computer. You need to get 2 apps, (firefox mobile) and (Download all files) both from the market and free. once you have these on your phone go to firefox go to the Wherigo site and download the cart for Pocket PC. then a option box will pop up choose the program ---download all files. then it will ask where you want to put it select the whereyougo directory (should be all the way at the bottom) and click start download. Thats it. it gets easier after you do a few. Have Fun!
  16. I just seen this thread and just had to reply. I have about 20 published Wherigo Geocaches and guess what...... I could careless if they do it at home eventhough I use the emulator blocking that urwigo puts on it, But I have found that people seem to be having a really good time playing my Wherigo's. They all work great. Just keep in mind that most cachers are not into taking the fun out of the hunt. Keep On Wherigo'n
  17. kvhollis sure you can use the same cart over and over in urwigo just save it as another name and go in and change it however you want. As far as copying zone commands I think you can I know I have have 2 carts open at the same time so I can use one as a template. Sorry I took so long to reply
  18. I guess im confused so you are using the same cart at a new location and it is someone elses cart? is this it?
  19. you will have to create a whole new gwz file to upload for the new location
  20. do you have the cartridge set complete at the end?
  21. So how would I go about creating an item that would be stored on the players unit that would have to completion code in it so the player doesn't have to write it down
  22. Use "Set". To the left you drag ZoneN.Active (appears when you opened the zone at the bottom left), at the right you select True/False. What I do is after the player gets to the next zone "on enter" That's when I set the previous zone=false, then I "set" the next zone active =true at the same time. But i guess there could be times when you don't want that? But that way if they go back into the zone after they finished it doesn't trigger all over again. If you use "on exit" make sure the zone is large so the don't go out of the zone accidentally before they finish otherwise they would have to start all over. You can also set the next zone active after they input a right answer to a question which is my favorite way to do it then I set the current zone=false and displayed=false then set the next zone displayed=true and active=true but if you are just having them go into a zone and not ask a question then just use "on enter" and "on exit"
