1. Thanks alot. Much better maps now. I don't know how the maps on the cache pages are geneterated (thougt it looks like they are from Mappoint) but it would be really nice if they also could be improved by the same technique. Typical maps over Swedish and US caches /Åke S
2. Ms MapPoint supports street level maps for a number of european countries - Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Use the same URL as in US and append "&L=EUR"
3. I´m awake again - waiting for the latest news... /Åke S
4. GpxView for PocketPC is also a candidate for the list of freeware applications. /Åke S
5. This works in logs: Click here /Åke S
6. I get a list of 17 TB:s with the word pickle somwhere in the name but "IN THE PICKLE" (TBE9CE) does not show up. I use this form: /Åke S
7. I don´t think that applies to search for Travel Bugs.
8. When I use the advanced search form to look for the keyword "pickle" the TB "IN A PICKLE" (TBE9CE) is not listed. Why? /Åke S
9. No problem! You will get automatic notifications on all caches and TB:s that you own. /Åke S
10. Thanks Jeremy It looks good now. /Åke
11. I have problems with the homepage of one of my travel bugs, Kikker Tigger. The uploaded image is not displayed properly and cannot be edited. I think it is beacuse the image url is img.Groundspeak.com/track/18584_200.jpg and most other images associated with tb:s are located in .../track/display/... I have seen the same problem on some other TB:s also. The image is not printed on the Bug Sheet. /Åke S
12. MapPoint currently supports street level data in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. However, there is no danger to use &L=EUR for all countries in Europe since the default low-res map will be shown if the country is not supported. /Åke S
13. That should not be too difficult. All cache descriptions contain information on Country/State. If the cache is situated in any of the european countries the EUR version should be used. MapPoint has not detailed maps for all european countries today but that is no problem since the default low-res map will then be displayed. /Åke S
14. It was my hope that they would. /Åke S
15. Something for Jeremy to consider The MS MapPoint maps have not been really useful in Europe. But I found out a way that will display detailed maps. Just add the parameter "L=EUR&" to the mappoint URL for caches in Europe and voila! Compare the new european map to the old european map /Åke S
16. Mix of km and miles I like the new pages a lot but have found a little glitch... The TB pages generated by search.aspx displays distances in km (my preference) but details.aspx and map.aspx will only show miles. /Åke S
17. Good idea, I have also missed this feature. /Åke S
