    Wow....I didn't know ticks were so busy here in Ontario either. We tend to cache in shorts and shoes I guess I will be putting pants on the kidlets and I for our next caching adventure when out on the paths and when we have to bushwack a lil. I'll be doing inspections of them too when we get home. Thanks for all the helpful informative links, especially for those of us who were oblivious to the fact that they were here.

    Birdman---thanks got the email and helpful suggestions...perhaps i will rethink when to come...perhaps i will take my chances with the weather...need to discuss this with the lil guy and get his input since he's already excited to go and planning along with me...

     

    though...what's a gapp? am sure it's some British word that us Canadians just aren't meant to get...but wanted to ask...

    We just use the Garmin Etrex...it's simple and easy to use and it doesn't need a lot of figuring out...though i did get some helpful tips at the Spring Fling...i haven't actually hookedup the cable yet to download caches...i've just been kinda lazy with that...so i just enter in the coordinates and away we go...i don't have the topo maps or anything but i do use google or mapquest...i personally hate the new mapping system on the site so i find directions elsewhere...

    and i knew about the Brolly and Wellies already...didn't know about the survival gear though...i'll make a note to add that to my list of items to bring for me and my son...

    I am planning a vacation to England the end of November. I am looking at heading to the Cornwall area for a few days then Stonehenge for a day and then London the rest of the time. I would love to stay at a little sea side town while in Cornwall and any suggestions of Inn's or such places would be greatly appreciated as well as must see/do caches.

    I'm sure there are caches around Stonhenge, though i haven't looked them up yet, so any suggestions would be great.

    Also i'm looking for suggestion on inexpensive palces to stay while in London as well as those must see caches, preferable ones near the main touristy type spot as well.

    I know planning way in advance, but I would like to have my whole vacation planed and plotted and every set and booked and such within the next few weeks.

    Highest cache in the world

     

    Once you get to Tibet, acclimatize for 4-5 weeks, be able to handle crampons, ice tools and jumar - wait for good weather conditions. Best is in april/may or september.

     

    Altitude is 7.570m. Be sure to have some dextamethason with you for emergency. Only experienced climber should realy try.

     

    To find it i mapped from my location then went to Tibet...I knew it had to be there somewhere...~crosses fingers n hopes it's right though i don't know any trivia questions..~
