  1. worked for me also. Still a bug in the site that no error message is displayed.
  2. I wish for the old interface. It breaks automation on my end to have to download the zip files now that they are not attached to the emails. Makes me almost want to drop paid membership.

  4. Has anyone known what tags are safe to the tidy version that geocaching.com runs? I know that the proper form for a break is <br /> with the trailing / since it does not have a closing tag. Safer for the gpx files also. What html is allowed in find/note posts to a cache page always seems to be a trial by error. I am trying not to use html formats from the latter part of the last century.
  5. PS: This now seems to be fixed. Case closed.
  6. I had submitted a ticket on this one LEX-899071 I noticed this problem also: This log: Show log does not show up on this travel bug page: Show travel bug but when you view the old maps they show correctly. Also: My finds shows I have found some caches over the weekend and they show up on the cache page but when I look here the last found date is not the same as what the cache pages show. Might be a database lag issue that will be fixed by the expert hard working staff at Groundspeak is my guess.
  7. Mine seem to go missing at events.
  8. I know this is an old topic but... In the begining there were not that many travel bugs and I guess the hotels at once was a way for a new cacher to find travel bugs. Now with so many events and people trading travel bugs all the time I find there is less of a need of a travel bug hotel. Maybe just a cache that is large or extra large that has a theme of travel bugs.
  9. I think 2 of each woulf be in order for me
  10. I also have a Garmin 60C a bit over a year so out of warrintee. I recently broke the antenna and am tring to repair it myself. Hate working with small electronics at times but I have the tools but my skills are not the greatest. I noticed this: The plastics used do not seem to be UV hardened types. The rubber is certin to be effected by leaving in a car mount. in anycase I am builting an extrenal antenna (google search for homemade gps antenna) any I hope that works better becuase the repair that I did proves that the internal antenna should not be attempted to be repaired.
  11. I have always thought geocaching.com an unsecure site and therefore treated information on the accout details as such. Something else that would be nice would be load balencing.
  12. Depending, I could go for this. Last made for night time caching cache for me was Caesers Darkside by PewterZ in 2002 I have been looking for a place that would be open past dusk here for something like that but New York I guess has to many people that trash the parks at night
  13. Greenfields! although I heard they changed the menu recently.
  14. I think we are all set for now. I will collect the info I need and send it on to the con so everyone will have a badge. Thanks for all of your help. See you in March.
  15. Welcome abord. Bost the geek? Well that depend on what's up for show and tell I guess... See you Sunday at the event
  16. Congrats on 300. I will get there soon I guess.
  17. I did a panel on geocaching at least year's I-Con in Stony Brook, NY and had help from StayFloopy. This year we can have a Maximun of 5 people on the panel, 2 spots are taken already. This would be a 50 minute panel on geocaching at a Science Fiction Convention March 26-28th. Would anyone want to help with this? It would include a comp membership for the convention.
