    Good to hear that ModelCitizen & gardengorilla are preparing the mailers...then half of the coins i traded for are on their way :yikes:B) B)

    And i can even see one of them at the picture :)

     

    Went to town today to buy some mailers, because i didn't have enough at home :tongue::(

    I have to check mine, but it appears over half I had listed, traded (56%). That's good.

     

    Chuck, will you be sending us shipping addresses or do we need to contact all the people ourselves?

    I hope we are being sent mailing addresses...my internet is still not reliable (supposedly, the phone/internet is getting fixed tomorrow - not sure if I will get that lucky, since it is supposed to snow again starting today)...it would take me a couple of trips to a hotspot to send emails requesting addresses from people, and then to check to see if I received them. With the next snowstorm due to start at any time, I just don't see that happening for me. If you are one of the folks that I owe a coin to, please be patient (we might be digging out again tomorrow). If you send me your mailing address (thru our GC profile please), than that might expedite your coin delivery.

     

    Maybe they are in the geocoin forum adress book. That would be easier to look up :ph34r:

    We’re new to the game

    out hunting about

    Searching for “treasures”

    When my son gave a shout.

     

    He’d spotted a box

    and we opened it fast

    Would he choose the first treasure?

    Or would he choose the last?

     

    He shuffled past toys

    And grabbed a small pack

    Wrapped up in cammo

    He didn’t put it back

     

    This treasure went straight

    Into his tiny pocket

    and he wouldn’t let mama

    look and unlock it

     

    Much later I pried

    His treasure away

    As I wondered what

    He’d snagged on this day

     

    The tape was real tight

    Where the pieces did join

    But inside was an awesome

    Bell Witch Mystery Coin.

     

    This is our first Mystery Coin (first coin ever) and we love it. Thank you Kate. We will treasure it always. I think it was fate that we found this one. Daniel (2 ½) loves the moon. We have to take him outside almost every night. When we discovered that your coin shines bright in the dark we were even more enthralled with it. We also have cat (Wicca) and love the night. If we are ever brave enough (and can afford) to make our own Coin you will be first on our list to get one. Thank you.

    Ohhh...I`m sad to hear this bad news :D

    Don't give up the hope for the missing coins.

     

    And the thing with the event cache is quite simple:

    Some cachers put their lost/ stolen trackables in event caches and some put their "Only discovery collection" in events and let it stay in the listing :P

     

    It's always a pitty if coins disappear :D

    Celebrating 10 Years of GC would be very good.

    I could figure out if we move our april event into may and then choose rather the 1st. instead of the 2nd. may.

    Our events here in Cologne are usually in the evening and therefore are saturdays better.

    Please let us know if this is possible. Please keep us informed about the coin.

    Would like to know the coin design and the costs before submitting the event.

     

    And which is the date: May 1st or May 2nd?

     

    Hope there will be some informations for us soon.

     

    And if i/we would host an event here in germany, must we have a version of the coin?

    And if yes, how many coins must we order?

    Today i received a big surprise in the mail.

    I opened the the envelope and after some whirling snowflakes i got bitten by the geocoinbug!

     

    It was a delight having this secret envelope in the mail! It feels good to receive such a surprise.
