  1. Some I have on my phone anyway... cannot find camera card at the moment. Glyphs by Ryan Miller, on Flickr Glyphs by Ryan Miller, on Flickr Glyphs by Ryan Miller, on Flickr
  2. Utah has some of my favorites, including virtual caches at Nine Mile Canyon and Fremont State Park, traditionals at the Rochester panel and Fish Cove, earthcaches at Newspaper Rock and my own Great Gallery. I was just looking at Sega Canyon and telling my wife that we need to go to Utah. So if you know any caches with glyphs, post recommendations and photos here. I would like to know. As for photos, I use Flickr although I am way behind with uploading pictures there. Or if you know of places that it is better not to publicize, I would love to find out more privately. I will get a list compiled and send it your way. Working on uploading some pictures for ya of glyphs.
  3. Most recently selfie while caching. Untitled by Ryan Miller, on Flickr One of my favorite ones. Had to swim underground. Untitled by Ryan Miller, on Flickr
  4. A picture taken while doing a night cache. It was next to this (obviously empty) payphone. I got a phone call while in said phone booth, making it pretty funny. Untitled by Ryan Miller, on Flickr
  5. I have many I can share with you. I live in Utah and see them a lot. Suggestions on photo hosting site?
  6. I'll do it. Quick question... How do I format a picture for this? Ha..
  7. That is frustrating! I've had one end up in a cache that was muggled and one still "in the hands" of an inactive user. I completely agree with treating them like gold! The ones I really like I make a specific point to "visit" every cache I go to before dropping it off, as well as snapping some pictures that I think the owner will enjoy!
  8. Thanks! I just didn't want to do something that was considered bad form or anything.
  9. I mean to physically sign the log, wrote a note that I signed the lg and change it to "found" when the qualification are met.
  10. Is it considered acceptable to log a challenge mystery, and log the "find" once you qualify
  11. Excellent suggestion! I will do that, thanks!
  12. Thank you for responding! Can I ask why you don't like FTF premiums? Just curious, as I've started listing all my new caches as PO, mostly to help with the constant maintence problems.
  13. I haven't been able to figure it out. I usually make a log, with the same pictures, before my cache is published. I use a "wrote note" long and just say 'picture drop'. Mildly annoying sometimes, but then I have them in both places.
  14. I'm new to coins. I think they are pretty awesome. I just order a lot of them, as well as currently in process of having my own made. Anyway, I always leave a FTF prize in a new geocache of mine, often generous. My question, however would be about leaving a coin as a prize. I know prizes are optional, but it's something in which I enjoy participating. I want to leave some of my new coins in new caches. I also want to log these coins, because I like the icons. Is it "tacky" I activate them, and then adopt them to the FTF recipient? If I leave it unactivated, is it tacky to ask if I may discover it, should they chose to activate it? I don't know anything about coin etiquette, other than they are someone else's property unless given to you.
  15. It says: "The information needed to solve this type cache must be available to the general community and the puzzle should be solvable from the information provided on the cache page." I was saying from my experience most puzzles do not have this, as it doesn't say where to begin other than "solve the puzzle". Maybe I'm not just very smart, but to me saying "solve this" when you don't know what "this" even is, means the information needed to solve the puzzle is not available on the cache page. In generally, it's not a big deal. I just ignore them. There have been a few times, however, when they inhibit me from placing a cache, because my cache location is "too close" to a puzzle that I feel I am not being provided enough information to solve.
  16. I visited you. If you want to be the first flag on my counter (besides USA) feel free to visit me!
  17. I've had the issue before. With puzzles that go over my head, and I don't even know where to begin. I thought how to solve the puzzle had to be listed somewhere on the page? They rarely are.
  18. Is the price for the set below it, or individual coins in each section?

    New Maps

Is this no longer possible? Or am I just doing something wrong? This was my favorite part of mapping my geocaching adventure, was looking at the terrain maps. Thanks!
  20. If you're getting smacked by branches you are way too close to the person in front of you.
  21. I do almost all my caching at night. It's a bit more challenging but the lack of muggles is nice
