  1. This was my review and comments as posted on the App Store. Glad to see this application finally show up on the App Store. It is a good start, but it is missing some pretty critical features. For me personally, I would like to see these thre things added for the next revision: 1. Ability to log in so that I can filter out the caches I have already found. 2. Ability to log my finds and Trackables 3. Ability to see a map with the caches around me, and select from that view which caches to hunt. The list of caches around me is ok, but a map is essential to figure out which caches are most interesting and muggle free. $10 is cheap when you consider the cost of a true GPS, so this app is worth it, specially when and if they improve it with the suggestions above.
  2. There is no point in checking the App store multiple times a day. New apps are loaded overnight so checking once in the morning should be all you need. On iTunes, go to the "Navigation" category in the App Store, and you the app should shop up there once it is published. The default view for the categories is "Release Date" so new apps are on the first page. Keep in mind however that this does not apply for updates to apps, just for the release date. -J
  3. I too find myself in the misfortune of liking my 400t. It is not perfect, but nothing ever is. Got 10 3.5/5 caches along a river this weekend... must be doing something wrong...
  4. I second the request for this. I would be very nice to be able to download a bunch of GPX files from the list of GCs on the current screen. Thanks, -J
  5. Looks like the issue has been resolved.
  6. Not sure if this is related to the software update, but I don't think it is since the update has been postponed until tomorrow. I am unable to log a cache. Whenever I submit I get the detail page for GCXXXX Any ideas? -J
  7. Hello, When viewing a GC detail page and I click on the "Send to GPS" button the Garmin Communicator comes up and I am able to save a file to my GPS/Card. However I could have sworn that the file that was normally saved was a complete GPX file with logs, descriptions, etc, for use with my Colorado 400t. However today I am only getting a waypoint file. When in the map, and I click on the info bubble that comes up for a GC, and I hit the "Send to Garmin" button I do get the full GPX file. Is this the expected behavior? If so, is there no way to send a full GPX file using Garmin communicator from the GC detail page? Thanks, -J
