  1. Hanes 69 I had to contact Groundspeak through email and ask them about it, after I did that, she got the favorite points and the lab cache.
  2. First of all, has your daughter logged finds under her account? Is her account showing as "Premium Member"? Here's the scoop on Favorites: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=287 Here's two bits of information from that article: B. Her account does show as premium now. She has logged over 200 finds as a basic member and this is the first time her account has ever been premium. I just didn't know if being a gift upgrade would make a difference.

  4. I gift upgraded my daughter's basic membership to premium. I was under the impression that she would get favorite points for all her finds as well as be able to hide a lab cache. She logged in and her account doesn't show any favorite points. Does anyone know how gift upgrades work? I wouldn't have upgraded her if she wouldn't get favorites and the lab cache.
  5. Does anybody have any idea how to solve a knot cipher? I'm working on a puzzle cache which I believe is a knot cipher. I don't want someone to solve it for me. I just want to know where to begin. Anybody? You can reach me at mvalentine6705@gmail.com. Thanks.
  6. FTF's are cool but I just like finding them period.
  7. I'm going to be hiding a cache with an old hidden treasure theme. I was thinking about using a locking ammo box and chain painted to look old and rusty, and locking it to a tree or boulder out of sight of course. I'm a little gun shy to put so much time and money into a cache and just leaving it out there. I guess it's all in how you hide it. I'd use a puzzle or hint for the lock code. Is it lame to lock up a cache? Let me know what you think.
