  1. Hi Ethan and Lennie, I don't think many NI cachers come on to the forums. You will get an answer quicker if you go to the FB page, The Emerald Isle Cachers I can't really suggest anything for you, though I split my time between Dublin and Belfast. I'm sure you'll find lots of advice there
  2. It seems to be gone again. I'm getting the same error as above. Who do I need to contact to get it jump started?

  9. This is the chocolate biscuit cake I make for my CITO events. After much practice, the icing is easy enough to cut out now
  10. I was trying to wait until V-Day to open mine but I couldn't wait any longer when I saw others opening theirs!! I'm delighted with my goodies, thanks so much Laval K-9!! So happy too, that Maine Guy enjoyed his package!!
  11. That would be me. Were you looking for someone to do maintenance? Not right now, but I may take you up on the offer someday! We went to Ireland in November for four years in a row, but the cost has become an issue since we retired. You should check it out someday! http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC21G8R_putting-on-the-ritz?guid=976c260c-ef3d-423b-9461-3ba4dd6554bf I've already found this, it's literally a few miles from my house. No problem to do maintenance, I understand Hezekiah was looking after this one for you, and I'm sure you probably know, he sadly passed away late last year. Oh, no, we did not know that. How sad. Windsocker was originally who was going to take care of it for us, but he suggested Hezekiah when he couldn't do it for a while. Would it be okay if we put your name on the cache page as the one who will do maintenance if we need it? At this time, we are pretty sure there are two caches there because Windsocker replaced the cache once, and then somebody found the original. Thanks very much. Let me know if it's okay to put your name on the page. The cache has lasted a pretty long time! No problem, put my name down. I'll investigate the two cache container issue next time I'm up there and let you know.

  17. I just did a quick search on Project-GC and the top two are indeed in Prague, but the third one appears to be the Lego cache in Berlin: GC13Y2Y
  18. Hi thingthing, there is a cache in Dublin called R2-D2 but it's a difficulty 5 puzzle : GC2NEGF That's the only cache I know of in Dublin that has any link to Star Wars.
  19. I live in Bray . I've found both those caches and they are absolutely tiny - smaller than you could probably imagine right now. They're nanos (google nano geocache). I'd recommend you look for something bigger to start off with. There are plenty of larger container caches in or around Bray Head. Try GC3BNRE, GC3P89R or GC43 to start with. Also, I am hosting a CITO event next weekend in Bray, if you want to meet some fellow geocachers: GC58T2J
  20. GC4Q85C Local cacher lost his finger on an FTF run.....
  21. I'm in Ireland and if you forward me the TB owners email giving you permission to post it, then you can post it to me
  22. I have an Oregon 600 and it won't list the geocaches that are loaded unless they are within a certain radius of my current location. Have you loaded local caches or are they all a distance away?
