  1. Well... there are two Im kicking around. A Black Nickel with teal, and a polished gold with Pink (For my AE). Likely a Antique Silver version possibly - we'll see!!
  2. The sale is open! Get the Claddagh Geocoins HERE !

You mean the e-mail link we got Won't work? Yep! It will work! Just hit refresh when the time rolls around - they will be linked! ~P

  5. Just wanted to bump the new photos for those viewing the last page. We are getting the store ready as I type - and will be going live in about 55 minutes or so! I just can't believe how pretty these are in person. Every now and then, the mints hit a home run with a combination of correct execution, and FINE workmanship. These really look like Jewelry - they are incredible in person. I cant wait till people start getting them in the mail after they ship! ~P
  6. YES, Thank you, thank you. Makes one wonder why such a price differential between different coins that sell . Production costs vary GREATLY between coins.... some are more expensive to make than others. Unfortunately - this isn't something thats going to get cheaper. Love this coin - great work!!
  7. Hey guys - This is what we saw when we opened the boxes of Claddagh's - This photo represents all 4 boxes of coins - each wrapped and taped (which is more labor intensive in my eyes than inserting into PVC flip). As we stated, we have fired off an email to the mint for PVC flips for these (and we will now carry extra flips to prevent this from ever happening again). I thought this photo would be a good representation of what we are unhappy with - as minute as it is, it's a big deal to us, since attention to detail is most important. However, these coins are absolutely GORGEOUS in hand, and even the photos that Paula did do not come close to the real deal. ~Jim
  8. New pics as promised!!! These arrived, and look better than we ever expected. The detail UNDER the enamel is absolutely incredible. They LOOK like Jewelery. (I hope 0r0b0rus is ready to do some Claddagh wire-wraps - because I know Im going to want one at least!!) However.. the mint made a mistake. GASP - NO WAY you all say! NOT on the coin - it turned out perfect. BUT they shipped them all in little bubble wrap instead of PVC flips. We have an email out to them already to get flips sent to us for these, but the sale will go as scheduled. If they are overnighting the flips, we will wait to ship when the flips arrive. If there will be a delay, we will figure that out and get them to our customers. (It might mean shipping them with your next order, but you WILL get your coin flips!) Remember folks - these go on sale TONIGHT at 6PM EDT! I will post the link when the sale begins!
  9. My mom is digging out a photo of me that I will scan and share tomorrow! I have one of these fantastic coins (One of my VERY VERY favorite coins!) - but, I'll still play along.
  10. My suggestion as a fix would either be one of two things - if it does not allow to set 'exemptions' for location, I would recommend setting up a Webstore for customers out of the country. Its a shame when cost prohibits people from buying a great coin. I know I want one, but will need a trade.
  11. Ooh... we just went through a naming thing - We ended up naming our pup "Kwiddit" And, another coincidence - Maxwell's Silver Hammer - a recent favorite song of ours - theres a hilarious flash animation video online. Will kick around puppers names - we have a few of our own: Cinema's DeLovely "Ella" (Cole Porter song, Ella Fitzgerald did a version of it) Cinema's Menage A Paw (Her Bday is 7-7-07 threes. Well.. you get the connection.) Her call name is "Ruby" simply because it sounded cute. Now the new one Cinema's To Be Determined. (We wrote it down, and laughed so much we might just keep this as her registered name.) That would be Kwiddit - well... she's heard "KWIDDIT" so much, she thinks its her name. LOL Will post soon!
  12. I can't wait to see these in person. Will add some new photos when they arrive tomorrow!!!!
  13. Does anyone have an extra 'Trackabulldog'?? Would like to trade for one or two! ~P
  14. I'm in for a trade if anyone here in the US buys any extra's - Hubby is a BIG Indiana Jones fan! ~P
  15. Very Cool!! Congrats to the recent recipients!!

    GEO COIN

A photo would probably help as well... ~J
  19. Just a few more minutes on these! Then that's it! ~J
  20. Just a reminder to everyone - PRE ORDERS close out at Midnight CDT (6 hours, 15 minutes from now). It's not too late to get these! However, after Midnight tonite, the edition will close! ~J
  21. It isn't normal to wait 8 weeks for a regular coin and we don't normally do pre-orders so we are squirming in our seats when we open the mail from the mint with this coin number on it. I must say I don't like this situation because it goes against our standards to delay things like this, but because each coin was printed with personalized information we really had no choice but to ask for payment up front. Darned if we do and darned if we don't. Mama Cache - glad (but not glad) that it's not just us. We're sorry you're got delays too. It's hard to provide the kind of customer service you're reputation is built on when your supplier says 'wait another week'. We created a mammoth production project - there were well over 2000 guitars with 63 paint, metal, and printing combinations.... and now we sit and wait. Hey guys! Just wanted to drop you a note to say it's not just you guys experiencing delays. As you said, the Hog is late with stuff and we just had our first coin delay after 9 weeks of waiting. We feel your pain and stand by your reputation as we do our own. When you are at the mercy of the mint, there's really nothing that can be done until the coins are in your hands. hang in there... that tracking number is in your INBOX ! ! ! Jim & Paula
  22. Woot... we found out today that the coins are on their way to us! Over a week earlier than expected. Its amazing how lately some project's the coin vendors have been working on have been delayed (We're certainly not exempt from problems - we had a production horror story recently ) But then others get here promptly, or sooner than expected. You just never know when you'll be told something is late... or early. Kinda like the lottery, but without the vacations and little drinks with umbrellas. ~P
  23. Id like a trade on a gold as well!!! Please let me know if anyone has any extras they'd like to trade!!
  24. Wanted to share a little history about the Claddagh, and, some information about some of the symbolism I included on the Geocoin (and why) The hands are shown holding the heart and the hands denote friendship and togetherness, the heart itself signifies love and the crown in the claddagh stands for loyalty. On the back of the coin I've included some Irish sayings I thought appropriate: mo chuisle - /muh kwish-la/ - My Pulse mo chroí - /muh kree/ - My Heart cairdeas - friendship dílseacht - loyalty, faith, fidelity le grá go deo - with love forever The back features an 'Eternity Knot' - a knot that has a closed path, with no beginning or end that is symbolic of eternity or continuum. I chose a three point Eternity knot, to symbolize the three symbols of the Claddagh - which you will see on each point of the knot. I wanted a coin that could be given to a friend, or loved one - or, who's mission could be to FIND a friend - old or new! This coin has a lot of meaning to me, and was inspired by some of the people I've come to know and love who I've found through Geocoins, and, through life. This ones for all of them!
