  1. I was referring to your insinuating I sent you threatening or harassing emails - you are making it sound like I sent you something mean spirited, and mean, or attacking, which is a complete LIE. I am asking to see ANY NEGATIVE EMAILS I sent to you other than the original thread - which THIS is a part of. (That I clearly mentioned above) You are insinuating that I posted a nasty, threatening, personal attack WHICH I DID NOT and I still challenge you to post. You have my complete and full permission to post any emails I sent you. Id like people to know IF I said anything nasty to you, which I DID NOT. ALL of my emails to you were INQUIRING as to WHY you have an issue with me, and asking why YOU attack ME. I emailed THROUGH Groundspeak - which would be unwise if I was going to make a personal attack, or say something that would hurt my Geocaching account. I would be VERY happy to share any correspondance I had with you regarding this issue with ANYONE. You are a liar, and enjoy any attention regardless of where it comes from. Sad, but true. My opinion on the original post? Its been said many times before. Its a coin, not a kidney. The value is only what the people who collect them assign them. To me, I have special coins, but these are from people who mean alot to me, as I dont collect much anymore. You took this off topic by saying we wouldnt defend ourselves.
  2. Had it not been made personal, I never would have commented - but CIH has proven to be the biggest liar on these forums. He several times tried to 'point' to me as the person selling the coins. I did nothing wrong here, and it was indeed an attack on his part. Please read up where someone said the people involved were afraid to defend their actions. Im tired of being addressed as the villain when I go out of my way to avoid conflict, but I will NOT stand by and watch people spew outright lies regarding myself.
  3. This is an OUTRIGHT LIE. ALL emails I sent were posted. I CHALLENGE him to post it. He has FULL Permission to post ANY email I have EVER sent him. This IS ABSOLUTELY a complete lie, and I would LOVE to see these 'other' emails. I have the entire message thread from the ONLY email account I use. Post them Cache In Hand. If I sent you 'other' emails, POST THEM, I challenge you. And yes, I AM calling you complete and absolute LIAR. Lets see any other message I sent you... c'mon, show em.
  4. Another person assuming to know something about me that they do not. As a note, the presales you speak of are all completed, and ENTIRELY delivered, so get over it. Its not like you have dealt with me, therefore you don't know a thing about me. Nice attempt to change the subject though... As for posting his emails - you are DARN right I did. I TOOK the time because he LIED about this entire situation. I made time. =) CIH said I didnt have the nerve to defend myself - which is obviously untrue - even though there is nothing here I need to defend myself over. (Except his outright lies) Go ahead and stick behind your buddies LB4T - you are another follower who can't form an opinion based on facts. Im done responding to you - I have never seen you contribute anything but negativity.
  5. I indeed feel the need to jump in here for a few reasons. First, its being insinuated REPEATEDLY that I am the one selling the coins - regardless of what anyone thinks - the eBay account in question is NOT my own regardless of the location. So... regardless of how much Cache In Hand would like to believe AND insinuate the auctions are my own, they are not. They ARE of coins I once owned - but my daughters interest in coins bottomed out once she saw the behavior of the 'adults' on the forums some time ago. Secondly, it was stated that he was 'attacked' in an email. This is untrue. Since the original said he would be posting MY emails, I will save him the trouble and post the 'attacks' here. You can read for yourself - no personal attacks. His intent was to start trouble with me, for no reason. ALL EMAILS ARE SHOWN UNEDITED. I would challenge someone to tell me I attacked him. Anyone on here - don't rub this guy the wrong way - he will start a personal vendetta against you too. --------------My original email ---------------------------- I dont know what your problem is with me - but, since you've never had a negative experience with me, you must have some sort of personal issue. I have emailed the moderators and Groundspeak about your personal attacks and veiled references to me. You don't know me, nor have you ever contacted me, or spoken to me to know ANYTHING about myself, or my actions. The ebay user you reference is not even my account. I find it sad, and somewhat pitiful that you have nothing better to do than to try to start drama, and attack a complete stranger. People like you are why many people leave the forums. ---------His reply -------------------------------------- Why are we blocked from bidding on your items on ebay LOL? Personally, I find it heinous that anyone would seek to profit from the receipt of a gift, unless permission was granted by the donor beforehand. That includes yourself or anyone else indescriminately. That is why people are so reluctant to be giving or to even be associated with the forums. I was referring to the seller anyway, and if that isn't you, then it doesn't pertain to you. Threaten me all you like, I think it is rather humorous, and fits your character perfectly. Please be advised that I reserve the right to copy and post anything you send to me via email as nonpriveledged information anywhere I deem appropriate. That includes any forum I choose to participate in or sites such as facebook or others etc. Please do not be surprised if your coorespondences show up in conversations at any of those venues. Thanks, CE --------------------My reply --------------------------- CE - I assumed you were the type to copy an email - which is why I chose my words carefully. =) Indeed, the eBay account in question is NOT mine, but I do understand why you were blocked. You are generally an unpleasant person overall it seems. =) A gift is a gift. If I gift a coin, its the persons to do whatever they wish with it. I've said this time and time again, and Ive always been perfectly fine with coins I gifted being sold. I did not threaten you - I indeed DID report your post. It wasn't a threat, I was simply letting you know that your 'veiled personal attacks' don't go unnoticed. Go ahead and post my replies if you like - I pretty much assumed you would. You seem that type - its alot of fun to whine and complain about someone on a forum particularly when you don't personally know them. For your own information - on Facebook - please note that personal attacks and issues between people/users can be reported, and can result in an account ban. So, if you have a beef with me, go right ahead, but tread carefully where your own account is concerned - I don't get involved in, or start public wars - which also should say alot about MY character, vs. your own. You won't find me posting your emails publically - as quite frankly, I have better things to do with my time. =) Have a nice day! ~P ----------His reply -------------------- Yeah. like spend peoples money that doesn't belong to you -----------My FINAL email ---------------- Not quite - obviously you are so outside the situation that you have no idea of the circumstance. Please, when you have dealt with me, or know the entire story, then feel free to comment. Until then, Id recommend you speak only of what you know, which is nothing. I always love how people who have never purchased from me (or GeocoinDesign) have an opinion, and seem to know everything about what has happened in the past. Stop trying to have a personal beef - I've never dealt with you, so you have absolutely no merit to any bad claims about me. You just seem to enjoy negativity - which is unfortunate. I have many coiner friends - longtime people who know me well - ALL of your nasty remarks are based on nothing. You do not know me at all. Why not just leave me alone if you have nothing nice to say? ------------------------- To Peters Trio --- not cowardly. As you can see, sometimes people prefer to not tell the whole story. I stepped in ONLY to make facts clear as I HATE conflict, and I detest when someone insinuates they know something that is simply untrue. Facts were deliberately twisted here - Cache In Hand invented his own story, including the sob one about being attacked in an email.
  6. Thanks for asking me about this one - It was truly one of my favorite ones to work on, and something Im very proud of. I always must thank the collectors for making this one as much of a success as it was. Was fun talking about it again - I hope everyone likes the new Tranq as much. =)
  7. Always cash and carry! I will not do any pre-orders taking Payment at all, if anything, only 'no prepay' reservations on coins. =)
  8. I only have a handful of em myself - I kept some of my faves. I have two of my final version remaining - I still need to name that one! If its the last, perhaps 'Finale' would be an excellent name..... Hmm... (I always have a hard time naming things - takes me forever! LOL)
  9. Im a wee dismayed over this - as one very last was discussed for myself several months ago since even I don't have a complete set of Tranqs - I had designed one special version I wanted badly, and it was pretty unique. And no... I won't have as many of the new one - (I don't even know all the original Tranq colors/metals) I'll create several versions to try and appeal to those who prefer one metal over another, or color schemes - but I'll keep it collectable for those who like the design. There will be a few LE versions I'm sure - since these often come from color/metal combinations I'm 'testing' or new ways of working with enamel over different platings. The new one is pretty special - I can't wait for the original Tranq collectors to see it!
  10. It will be entirely new - but will absolutely continue on in the style of the original! Im glad to hear everyone is excited - I'm very proud of it so far, and am just adding in details to try and get it completed soon! Taking my time on this one - its special to me! (As was the original!)
  11. To clarify - CastleMan and I produced many of my coin designs together - and he did mint the design, but the concept, ideas, and execution were entirely my own. =) I did all artwork, and the idea for the coin was my own - the name as well. The 'creation' of this coins design will soon be in a blog mentioned above - I will tell about how it came to be from start to finish! And, there will be a new Tranquility coin this year - I have designed it already, and am just wrapping up the final details. I love this one, and it has more details and I am very excited over it. I aspired to try and improve upon my first Tranquility, and I believe that collectors of the first coin will approve!
  12. Well, personally... I can say that sometimes a 'formerly of XXX' can be painful for the person posting it possibly. I know I wouldn't want to be typing it every time I posted if it was me... or having it in my signature. People start new caching names for many reasons, and there isn't always a need to explain oneself to the masses. I think if its clear- and the business name hasn't changed, theres no reason for a personal explanation every time someone posts. (Which is the case with GeocoinDesign - its GeocoinGuy - business name never changed.) Thats MY opinion, for what its worth. Now, as another tiny opinion - perhaps 'kindness and senseless acts of beauty and take care of your fellow man' means to have a little understanding of sensitive situations, and a little faith in those involved. It can be harrowing to feel as though no one gives a crap when times are hard. Been there, done that. But, I think I've come away from the forums a better person - I don't post here often due to the often unkind behavior, and outright nastiness I've seen at times. I prefer a kinder gentler crowd, and I think forums bring out the worst in many people - both in public, and in PMs unfortunately. If we were all in a room somewhere, we'd likely get along, but its easy to hide behind a monitor, and run ones mouth. I decided some time ago to just be nice to people who are nice to me. The others, I try and ignore as they never go away. I wish everyone could just be nice, and understand we all have hard times, we all have our conflicts, and we all sometimes just need a little support, rather than having people continually attempt to knock us down. Oh well... off my soapbox, and back to being away from the forums for a spell. I wish you all well. =) ~P
  13. No one here changed their names. Jim (GeocoinGuy) is GeocoinDesign still. Your assumption of a business name change was incorrect - he picked up a new caching name however. I am still CinemaBoxers (Paula) - If I decide to mint and SELL coins myself, it will be done under a different name than GeocoinDesign, because I would simply be DESIGNING for GeocoinDesign, and he would be selling his OWN coins. I would be minting and SELLING my own - therefore another name would be needed. If you didn't know, Jim and I separated in 2008. No one changed any names to try and cover anything up, by any means. We simply needed to go separate ways, and we still enjoy caching. (Hence, two names needed!) We both made efforts to make sure all orders were filled - which they were indeed. =) We worked together to right any wrongs - all while going through a tough time in our relationship - and are trying to remain friends. Adding a business side to the ending of a relationship can be tough, yet we both managed to get things done, and remain friendly enough to get this fixed. And, I can assure you, if and when either of us sells any coins in the future, there will be NO pre-orders - all coins WILL be in hand when sold. I wish people knew how difficult it is to deal with things all while trying to remain amicable, and yet give each other space. I wouldn't want pity, just some understanding that while we were dealing with this, we also had a whole lot of other things on our plates. All is done, settled, and when business occurs in the future, you should only expect good things from either of us. =) And yep, I'm willing to prove that on my end at least, Im sure Jim would say the same. ~P (Still CinemaBoxers)
  14. Dividing up property takes time. I do not visit the forums anymore, as my partnership in GeocoinDesign is nonexistant. However I wanted to step in and make a comment as my own motives and actions were being questioned. Our coin collection was indeed divided up and will be sold to pay for the coins - this was an amicable and mutual decision between Jim and myself. cache in hands post is entirely false - no one ever said the 'AE's alone would be sold to pay for the minting, and neither Jim nor I would have spoken to him about this. As far as I know, Jim doesnt know him, and I guarantee I have never spoken to him. Over the past few weeks Jim and I have been dividing up ALL of our property to be sent to him where he is now. This has taken some time. I no longer have any interest in the forums, or collecting personal coins and had given a LARGE number of coins even before this ever occured to my daughter as she collected. She is selling them now as she no longer has any interest in the coins or people. Speculation is harmful and damaging when you don't know whats going on to get these coins taken care of, and they WILL be taken care of. Jim is doing everything he can, and we are working together to make sure everyones orders are filled as soon as possible. However, understand that when two people separate, its not as easy as just drawing a line and splitting property immediately. This is done now, and we can move forward. All of our property division has been amicable, and to speculate on why I gifted coins to my daughter is nonsense - in the past shes sold coins from her collection to pay for random things and no one has questioned it. Only now are her coin sales speculated upon. Shes selling HER collection, simple as that. Assuming or stating that I am not helping is also false, as many if not the large majority of coins in our personal collection were traded for my own designs and coins I was given as payment for design work. I am more than happy for the collection to be sold to take care of these coins - I no longer have interest in the hobby. Understand that this has been a difficult situation for both of us, and we are getting through things as quickly as possible, and are remaining amicable to work on getting everything taken care of. I will now remove myself from the discussion. Best wishes. Edited to add - re: the sale of our collection. Jim got the responsibility of GeocoinDesign, but I have the responsibility of my kids. We agreed that these were both high priorities to split and sell the collection ASAP.
  15. Deleted - I used the wrong acct - my bad.. force of habit ~J
  16. Lois Jean - I sent your second set of coins on the 11th as you have mentioned. I will be posting your 3rd set tomorrow. What I don't understand is after thousands of coins being sent, yours were the only ones not received not once, but twice. I just find that awfully peculiar. Not only will the 3rd set have proof of mailing, but delivery confirmation as well. Paula doesn't even read the forums anymore because of all the negativity. We have never 'stolen' from anyone EVER - and never intend on it. Our customers are always informed on the status of their coins by newsletter or email. Regards, ~J
  17. I've said it before and I'll say it again... This is an outstanding mission and if Butterfly Lady requires more participants to 'match-up' - I would certainly be in for a few more... The two coins that we set out to travel have been picked up and one of them actually is in the destination country! Wooty! ~J
  18. Good afternoon to all - Since this coin was address specifically, I will give you the story on these. There were 228 coins reminted in this set. Then we added a special multi-glitter edition for the artist. At first, the mint argued with us that the swirled enamels and multiple glitters could not be done. I argued that it wasn't that it couldn't be done, it was that they (the mint's production factory) didn't WANT to do what we had asked. Now, the multiple glitter coins, being the AE, were never offered for sale. We had never done samples before and didn't feel the need to do them here as we had always been provided with a sharp, clean and flawless coin from them in the past. Well, guess what - we received these coins and they were HORRID in quality. I know I wouldn't pay $10 for one of them, and I wouldn't expect any of our customers to pay for a sub-standard coin either. SO - I SENT THEM ALL BACK. I had them re produce the entire production run. I don't know if any other vendor had ever done that before - but I was pretty livid. Even the special coins we had produced for the person who provided us the idea for these coins were bad - and there was NO ENAMEL on those! The platings were horrible. Having said that, I would rather explain a delay than poor quality coins. The Claddagh geocoins that I ordered AFTER the Cat got your Cache coins have arrived and were already shipped on 7/10. The word I received from the mint was that I was to expect the Cat coins on 7/15 (today), but I have not received the tracking number as of yet from them. If anyone has a question about these coins, feel free to email me through the Geocoin Design website and I would be happy to respond to you. Regards, Jim

  23. I am not sure this is a lynch mod or a number of people who have had a bad experiance all coming together now that someone started talking. Might I add that I was not paid up front for this design - NO money changed hands. Period. I discussed why I thought the changes you suggested were a bad idea - and I strongly felt they would effect the quality and design of the coin. (In chat we discussed this multiple times) As well, the first coin I designed for you went off without a hitch and I never recieved any trackable versions of that coin as per our agreement. (I got one untrackable one - when the agreement is two trackable coins) As Ive said, this subject has gone way off topic, IMO. And I can assure everyone there are indeed two sides to every story. I'm now stepping away from the thread, and believe I've done what I have had to do between the people who felt they were wronged. Any correspondance between myself and them will remain that way - between myself and them. It seems that many of the same people always show up in threads having to do with negativity - some people just thrive on it. I do not. I have no ego, anyone who actually KNOWS me knows this better than anyone. I just believe that if I should choose to deal with things privately, rather than on the forums, I should be allowed to do so. It has indeed been a tough year for us, and only very few people know us well enough to know this, and they have been supportive which I appreciate. Unlike many of the threads we see here, I don't like sharing my own personal woes, or issues - as I DO like to keep my posts on the forums ON TOPIC and not personal.
  24. Well.. case closed 'Paula' will no longer be working for any outside clients. My choice, due to the fact that I too have had so many bad experiences. There are two sides to every story, and I'm sure I could provide an earful on many of these people who seemed perfectly fine until a convenient bandwagon was made available for them to jump on. Thats my take on it - no need for a sock puppet account. I have no issue saying my take on it. Im hired for artwork - until I say, "It can't be done, it shouldn't be done, it will look horrible IF done, etc.." Then, Im often made out to be the bad guy. People are why I like designing coins - but people are also why I will no longer work for others. I've gotten some emails for design requests during this whole hub-bub, and I might end up doing a few of them down the road - but I'm in no hurry to work for anyone else but myself right now.
  25. Very wrong Redshoesgirl! That painting was of Spectacular Bid winning the 1980 Washington Handicap at Arlington International Racetrack (edited to credit proper race won). And, does that make them not art? Sigh... Im guessing that the ABILITY to do paintings if you are inspired by something makes you no longer an artist. You have to do something completely unrecognizable and abstract to be a true 'artist' - nothing at all recognizable or 'inspired by'. Hmm and to think I have a hard time viewing most abstract work as 'art'. I guess its time for all artists to hang it up - its all been done folks. Throw in the towel.... we're all copying something apparently, or its just not art. (!??!?) Regardless of what Im painting, or drawing, my point is, I have the ability to do it, and don't need photoshop, or others art. My next design I have planned is something pretty incredible. And, those who collect my coins should be very happy. (And those are the folks I design for.)
