I have occasional lock-ups that are only fixed by battery removal. I would say about once every couple of months. A bigger problem for my GPSr (MAP60CSx) are the weak connections to the card. A re-seat and usually I am on my way again.

One idea is to check to see if the battery saver option is turned on (setup system). It doesn't update as often and could explain some of the behavior of the GPSr. If battery saver is on, set it to normal.

While in Heidelberg on a tour, I found a cache a short walking distance from the castle, and a short distance from the edge of the street: "Castle cache by Carrie,Rob, and Jessie (GC890F)", still active and recently found. I came close to a couple of caches in Munich, near the Olympic site, but could not break away from the group to go chasing into the woods. The cache I found in Frankfurt was about 0.25 miles from the hotel... a good reason to get up early and go for a walk. I loaded as many caches from PQ's as I could in a reasonable radius around our hotels and caches on a route as POI's in my Garmin MAP60CSX. Without WAAS, the error is higher and some caches should have been easier than they were and resulted in more DNF's. Lots of fun though.

No. This problem is with notices about objects for which you are the owner, not copies of email you sent. I shouldn't think so. RFC2822 says the Subject field is unstructured. I made the switch over to an account at gmail.com and started to receive the emails just fine. I also forwarded one of the notices to the comcast account and it came through without problem. The base64 was converted by gmail to 7 bit encoding and comcast web mail was happy. I am sticking with gmail for a while, even if it is not perfect.

I also had several conversations with comcast. Coincidentally, a fiber optic cable was cut over the weekend in the St. Paul, MN area so I let the problem rest for a couple of days. I have an open trouble ticket with comcast from Monday (yesterday) after trying some of the usual mods for security settings, etc. ...ooops duplicate post. Another time out issue?

Yes it was our first hunt, but i am not giving up! My kids ........That's another story, there a little freaked out. But they will be OK, it's a great lesson for them and all of us that when were in the outdoors ..to always be prepared! And like i told my 6 year old son they(bees) were only defending there home! I look forward to the frost. I am searching for bees / wasps these days while looking for the cache. Just yesterday, in cool wet weather, I came across a nest but didn't get stung (lucky!). I had an EpiPen and Benadryl with me. I didn't find the cache either. If you don't carry a backpack / fannypack / purse, how do guys carry these things? Also, keep your expired ones... they have a short shelf life (~ 1 year). They might not be as effective but better than nothing.
