Hi all, I have a Garmin Etrex 10 GPS, which works perfectly well for loading in traditional caches and finding them (who'd have thought it!?), however my problem starts when I go for a multi. Once I have worked out the co-ords of the final cache, and use the the GPS to put in the co-ords instead of a downloaded cache, it sends me round in circles every time without fail, nowhere near where I'm supposed to go! I have to resort to converting the co-ords so google maps on my iphone can understand them, which isn't ideal half way up a mountain with limited signal! Any ideas / suggestions extremely appreciated

Don't hold me to this as I'm not 100% but I think you should be okay if your local council doesn't mind geocaches...I know that BT do not wish geocaches to be placed in their operational phone boxes but if this isn't one of those then I'd go for it

Indeed, perhaps they are just curious? What's wrong with wanting to expand their knowledge base?

As eBay can be quite expensive when planning a 10 cache series around a local tourist attraction Also, where do people in the UK buy disc magnets? I've tried B & Q, HomeBase, Asda, Tesco...none sell them Thanks for any help

Wow, certainly a huge diversity in terms of replies here! I do understand where all of you are coming from I found a few of these type of caches before so I think I will just go into the store with the aim of "making them aware"

Hello Just wondering if people have any experience with placing "off yer trolley" caches - generally in the grounds of well known supermarket! I have found quite a few on my travels and notice that the supermarket closest to me does not have one. Has anybody asked the store manager for permission, or is the usual thing just to go ahead and place it, and assume they won't mind / won't ever come across it? If permission has been sought, has it been given? Thanks for any help / advice
