  1. Though I haven't personally found it, a nearby cache reports original contents of CD-ROM of the unlocked corporate version of Windows XP Also not too legal, but pretty nice.
  2. I actually had the opposite experience. The hint said "fake rock in pointy plants" but the most logical place to look was under them. On what I think was my third visit, I moved a few leaves, and there it was.
  3. This is the first cointest I'm entering! Yay!
  4. I read it. It either has interesting information about the location, or helps find the actual cache.
  5. I personally haven't, but was from a DNF of one of my earlier caches: Tried to find this one. We had fun enough, but not as much fun as we saw a couple having on the field where they didn't think anyone was watching . hehe
  6. Took me 5 or 6 times to find a 1/1. That was mostly because i was new to geocaching, the coordinates were slightly off, and, in my being new, I was used to caches in bushes and those types of hides- it was a magnetic Altoids can, and for about a week or two after finding it, I thought that using magnets was a completely uncommon and new concept. Boy was I wrong.
  7. Wow! I need to go to more garage sales!
  8. Does anybody know how much a GPS unit cost when it first came out? Was it a ripoff of what it costs today like many other electronics? Or do you wish you had purchased it earlier? This is for a project for school, on the evolution of Hi-Tech vs, Lo-Tech items.
