Anyway, the price you get from me IS NOT $100 USD...it is half of it. That site's price for 6 pack of 4 would costs you $53.88 GRAND TOTAL INCLUDES SHIPPING within USA and $62.08 to Canada... I am in Canada, I see the price at Wal Mart costs $16.99 + taxes...so it would come to $19.37 each pack of 4 batteries. So for 6 packs of 4 (24 batteries) would costs $116.21 CDN

  9. For me, when I go geocaching, and I get near the cache, I have to select off road. Lock on road is used when we are driving on the road, highway, so it shows up as a straight line when you turn on your track log. It is a smooth straight line....but if it is not select. If there is no road and we select lock on road, it seems to be standing still and stry to find itself

  16. I haven't found my CSx to be complicated at all. Yeah, I have to calibrate the compass when i change the batteries. But that's only when I want to use the electronic compass (which has come in handy enough to make it worth the $20)-- otherwise, I could just turn it off and I've got a Cx. I set my altimeter to auto-calibrate and haven't touched it since-- works just fine. Truthfully, that alone was worth the $20. Remember, you can always turn these functions off and have yourself a Cx. But, if you find yourself in need of these features even a couple times, you'll probably be glad you spent the extra few bucks.... IMHO EDIT: nevermind I have never a need to calibrate my compass even after I change the batteries. So curious why everyone is saying they need to do that step?
  17. I found all the answers I need within this forum, I only need people to guide me to certain questions I have and thats all I need.
  18. This repeats a lot of sbell said but, You get charged a fee for just listing something there (insertation), and a percent of whatever the final sale price was. The fee is based on the starting price of the item, and what the listing is like. Listings with more pictures, bigger pictures, cost more. Bolded titles, and themed pages also cost more than plain listings for example. yes, you still have to play the fee to list it there It goes to your paypal account and is held there. You can can paypal transfer it to your bank account, you can have paypal send you check in the mail (theres a few and it takes time), or you can leave the money on paypal and is use when YOU use paypal to pay someone else. Not to offend you, but if you don't have time to check with ebay and paypal about some of this stuff maybe you shouldn't sell things there. If something happens that you didn't expect, will you have time to figure out the problem? will this upset you? (ex. having the money delayed because you can't get it out of paypal, or getting a non paying bidder) Also, what does this have to do with geocaching? Paypal fees are based on the type of account you have with them, but generally I think most people are charge both a small fee for money sent to you, and a small percentage of the money thats sent to you. The amounts vary based on the account you have. Thank a bunch Welch! really appreciate your time and contribution and to everyone who help me out in whatever way you can!
  19. They charge an insertion fee that it based on your starting price and a final value fee based on the selling price. See here for specifics. You'll pay the insertion fee, but not the final value fee. See above referenced page. You just transfer the money to your bank account. It takes a few days, but there isn't a charge. Thank you for that link... I couldn't find the fee page, I just am not good at searching for it online...now I will read more on it. and thanks for everyone who help me out! I am asking all these questions because I have items to sell on ebay and they are related to GPS
  20. That statement is not true. There is software to 'manipulate' MetroGuide so that it will autoroute. It works very successfully on MetroGuide NA v7 and MetroGuide Europe. WHich one is that? is it the Autorouting MetroGuide Wizard? cuz it doesn't work for me! why is that?
  21. lol haha, I hope I am!! thanks for pointing out! didnt notice it!
  22. It seems to me that this question should be directed at Ebay not Geocaching. I believe there is a frequently asked question section on Ebay. I don't have the time to read through all the FAQ for ebay and paypal...I wanted to know if someone have experience in selling on ebay would help me out and glad to do it...of course I know this is a forum for geocaching...but we can ask any questions we want. Thanks for all who help me out! I still can't find time to read the FAQ...jsut too much and don't know what I should read
