  1. Is that stupid thing fixed yet?? Oh well, too late now anyways. Maybe in time I'll go get it and hold up a big #300 sign. As for the #200 sign, I've a fireplace and it'll kindle a few good fires. LO, I stumbled into an area by Fresno a couple months ago that made me go "What the HELL"? You won't need the binocs there. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  2. Tag cache. I thought that the tag container was out by C_____. Instead, I tracked it to an area almost a mile down the road and behind the W________. Stupid clock cams. Still thinking, "which will it be"? Maybe I'll grab anything out in the So. Bay tomorrow. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  3. Ok. Put one out today. Not huge but a lot bigger than a micro. Been eyeballing this spot for a LONG time. Figured I better stop snoozing. Watch for the smily face. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  4. The other day while caching a bit in Tracy, I drove past a cemetary and no waypoints were pointing to it. What's up with this?!? If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  5. I agree. Micros are fun but I wanna dig through lots of neat stuff. I'll be placing a BIG one soon. maybe call it "Back to Basics". If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  6. Here's another one. It was the very first week of my starting caching and I told my wife "next time I go through Casa De Fruita, I'm going to plant a cache there and call it "Casa De Cache". Next day, I'm looking at state map and zoom in on a cache near that area. Click identify. ARRGGGHHH! DOH! Well, I've got one sitting here that I don't THINK has been done yet. We'll see. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  7. Ummmm. I never took it home. Deposited it on the WAY home. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  8. I thought that my cache up north of me was original and clever. Turns out it is only clever. Hardly original. I never knew until today when I found one of Georges' caches that he had already done that MONTHS ago. I guess it's true what they say about great minds thinking alike. But, in this case, one just runs a heck of a lot slower. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  9. Yep, I know exactly where that is. It's very close to Chinese Camp. I must have deposited several hundred pounds of lead into one of them thar hills. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  10. Drat! I simply cannot modify a work schedule on a Friday to get that one. Will be far away from Riverbank. Too darn funny Bill. Too funny. Now, go to bed! If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  11. Hmmm. I found that thing. Am I one of them alphabet people now? From what I've been reading, I hope not. I'd like to be left out of this please. hehe Rats, my turn isn't up again, so I can't get TAG in the morning. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  12. It's best to attach something to it. Small toys, small stuffed animals and the like work. Then give it a name to match. To bad CVC Tag doesn't have a bug in it. Would be fun to see how many miles it gathers as we all hide it around to various spots. This one would already have quite a few miles on it. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  13. I saw, I read, another headache, another one to pass on.. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  14. Nope. Different camera. Can tell by photo size and the field of view is all wrong. It looks simulated. Possibly coundn't find a person at a computer. I think Fizzy had a very good idea on how to handle it. I still need T4 and am up for going after it with whomever else wishes a tag along.. again... If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  15. Well, I've got the tag cache. And, when I found it, I was fairly disappointed that it was there. I was really hoping that it's location would inspire Bill to come out of retirement and find the thing. Now, I see that he has and that is GREAT! Only thing now is, he'll have to come to Merced county to find it. OOPS! Did I say Merced? Yes, I screwed up. But, Only by a tiny bit. Maybe 1 1/2 miles. But, I did have my reasons to place it there. Coords up soon.. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  16. I know where it is. Almost in the middle of the triangle. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  17. Yes, after acknowledging the receipt of all the other e-mails and still no info on the cache find, I think it should get deleted. After all, once the info is provided it can be logged again. And, if cacher does have that info, it should be no big deal. I think my brother is having trouble with some newbies to the game. They look for his MICRO and keep finding something big enough to put large items in. LOL! Check it out. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=45467 Zarni! What is it they're finding?? Welcome to Catmit! If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  18. I made a cache plant over in your neck of the woods. Was in Cupertino today. Watch for it. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  19. Hey, it was on my way to work! Actually it was going to be tomorrows work, but I saw that cache and started rearanging things. I'll just do SF in the morning. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  20. LO, It seemed to me the whole time Bill was conversing about tag game, he was only joking. Hope that is the case. And, I think you should have gone for it the way you did. Who cares who finds it next? I for one, do not. Even if it was Pat. This sport/game/hobby is just something to do for the fun of it. At least, that's how I see it. If it was a fun cache to find, mission accomplished. Just think, a few more hides and you can go for it again. But, if you do, could you please leave it a tad bit closer to Merced county this time?? Hope each and every one of you have a great Christmas If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  21. Congrats Pat. Now, on to 400! If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  22. Well, It looks like nobody needs to worry about ME beating them to this one. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  23. Well, I was there today. I drove to the cache sight and found ( another one of these spots ). The wind was howling, but I decided to go for it anyways. I walked in and just as I got there I noticed someone sitting in a parked vehicle under the nearby trees. I saw all the white and the person looking at me. I started turning blue so, I bailed out. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  24. Let me break out a map.... If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
  25. Yes, and I wish I had remembered that before I bought this one! Now I gotta wear my gramps reading glasses. This one doesn't have a feature that I really liked and used a lot on the old gps12. Maybe I should have kept it. If a little Brute Force doesn't work, try using a lot!
