  3. Thanks DJJ! We run pre-orders for generally a week to guage demand. At that point we will place the order using the current sales numbers to guesstimate the coins popularity. Then we will keep the pre-order open until the coins are in hand or that guesstimated number runs out- which ever comes first! Last years Key sold out of LE's in two weeks, but there were some SE's in-stock for about a month and a half. Hope that helps!
  4. Hi Dallas, We own a business that sells geocoins as well as caching supplies (Lillysue.com) and can get 10 or more donations requests a month! Unfortunately we are not able to help out with every request we get, but there are a few things that people provide in their request that help us narrow down which events we decide donate to; Give the event number so we can look it up (that helps us to know it is a real event!) Let us know what our donations will be used for- auctions, prizes, raffles, etc. (otherwise when we see our coins pop up on Ebay we feel ripped off!) What is the event for? (is this an event for a specific purpose, ie. children, new cachers, a city/state event?) How big is the event? (do you anticipate 10 attendees or 100?) People on here are amazingly generous and kind, but a little information goes a long way in getting people to help out! Good luck on your event.
  5. It really won't be raised! They entered the prefix incorrectly so it shows as part of the mold. That will be taken off and the entire number will be engraved.
  6. Our portfolio is here and last years Key is the third one from the bottom. Thanks for the kind words everyone!
  7. It's hard to believe it has been almost a year since the first Key came out! This years design features a 3D front and 2D back of Norse jelling dragons with gemstone eyes and translucent resin. The Key is trackable on geocaching.com and has its own icon. I will post the sales links tomorrow when orders officially open. There were some color mix-ups in the sampling process so we are waiting on confirmation that they have fixed the issues before we open up the pre-orders tomorrow, but being the very impatient person I am I *had* to show off pictures of the samples right away. The correct colors should be Emerald/Green on Copper, Garnet/Red on Gold, Saphire/Blue on Silver and Crystal/Silver glitter on Black Nickel. I'm working on getting some 'edited' pictures up that will show the accurate colors on the right Keys... please know that the colors on this picture are incorrect! Hope you like them!
  8. 107? Thanks for the Cointest!

  11. Photos as promised! This is what I got from Sofi and Holmbiorn: Firstly, I loved the wrapping I opened it up to find a CACHE inside!! How very very cool! This is my favourite kind of cache container, as it seems to last the longest, and can be cammouflaged well. I shall set a cache in your honour! I then found, inside the cache, another cache! It's a nano (with log sheet). Yet another cache to set in your honour! There were decorations, and eggs, and egg candles, and pig bubblegum and Robin's Eggs Candy - oooohhhh yum! I am having to fight off the husband for this stuff! They are so tasty!! (Please excuse me while I rob the nest again for more of these yummy treats)........... But what really shocked me was the sheer number of geocoins I was given!! TEN!! Yes, you read correctly, TEN!!! And I love them all, thank you so very much! And many from my wishlist! And some I didn't even know existed! What a great day! Thanks again, I feel so spoiled! I hope your Easter Mission is just as fabulous as mine was! Your very welcome! Glad to see the mission arrived safe and sound. Now the tricky part is gonna be to get some vacation time so we can come down there and find the two new geocache hides! HAPPY EASTER!!!
  12. I awoke this morning and the beautiful spring weather was gone... It was snowing again! But this afternoon the mailman delivered a couple of bubble mailers... and suddenly it turned into a great day!!! Some trades, some purchases... One trade from last week, that I just now took a pic of. For those who traded these wonderful coins with us... Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
  13. So any idea when the orders that *don't* include the silver coins will ship?
  14. No... but if you'll turn a blind eye to the poor spelling of pirates you can have it in Herriman, Ut! It's close

  16. If you see a coin you like on Ebay, I would do a quick search on here and on google to see if the coin is still available from the vendor. There have been a ton of times I've seen coins going for a pretty high $ amount on Ebay and they are still 7-10 bucks from the vendor! It can save a ton of money to do your homework when it comes to coins. If you check in on the forums here from time to time you will see tons of coins for sale for much more reasonable prices. Good luck!
  17. Our Loki was named after the Norse god of mischief and mayhem and certainly lives up to his name! When we fist got him he was so tiny and cuddly, he loved to curl up on my chest and nap- especially when I was trying to work on my laptop. He is definately the king of the castle and has us trained well! Loki loves clearing the table off (whether you want it or not!) and will empty the coffee table every night after we go to bed. In the morning we find whatever had the misfortune of being on the table scattered across the living room! He is so very curious, usually about the things we wish he would stay out of, and *loves* to drink out of the faucet! Enjoying a nap with Sofi When he used to fit in the palm of Holmbiorns hand! Loki (almost) all grown up... notice the horns on his forehead?
  18. We pack them single layer between two pieces of cardboard then put it in a bag and either vaccum seal it and/or use lots of tape to keep it flat. The cardboard keeps them in a flat layer so they dont shift during shipping and the plastic protects the coins from coming in contact with the tape!
  19. Our shipping rates for US orders cap out at $4.99... reason? A flat rate envelope cost $4.75 to ship (the other .24 cents goes toward things like ink, tape, gas and time!) We have been able to pack flat rate envelopes to fit well over a dozen coins with no shifting and still able to easily seal the envelope. My thought is that is one person wants to order more coins than will fit in a flat rate I will gladly pay any extra postage over $5! There are always exceptions, but for the vast majority of orders- US shipping for coins should be easily accomplished for under $5. Just my two cents....
  20. Glad it got there- hope Cass is feeling better soon!
  21. Email sent.... I would love an earth turtle coin to add to our collection! Wishing...
  22. The coins are here! Almost all have shipped and the last couple will go in the morning... Thanks to everyone for your support of this coin.
  23. The coins have been shipped to me and should be here tomorrow! Only a few more days....
  24. The metal coins without color are difficult to read, so we only ordered a few of each. Once all of the pre-orders are filled we will determine what to do with the rest. The coins with resin are still available on our website, and they will be kept in stock for the time being.
