How about doing some individual GPX to -40 from gc.com? I know it's not the PQ's, but you can put 5-10 on there to go out and play afaik, CR is the only way to batch load onto the PN-XX... OH !! (sigh) Ok....... If I must do this for now. As much as I enjoyed caching when I first was introduced to it I never liked the process of writing of printing waypoints. So I didnt cache as much as I would've liked to. I waited long enough for a paperless unit to come out and now that its in my hands I guess I can wait a few more hours. ( this is going to make my work day seem really really long). None the less I am liking everything else about my 40. I'm just wanting instant gratification. I'm sure there's plenty out there who agree with that. Thank you for all the support.....

OK. If thats the case. Is there a way to get the PQs on to the 40 without using CR?

Yes I have rebooted. twice now. the froggy keeps saying to check my network but its fine. I have no problem logging in without CR. CR just cant do it. I may try reinstalling CR but not sure if I need to delete the original I just installed first.? Is there a way to get the PQ's on to my 40 without using CR? Lunch is getting near and I need this resolved before that ( Yes .. I'm getting impatient... I wanna play!!!!)

I got it! I got it! About 3 hours ago. Do not have a toy like this delivered to your work place as it may cause you to be really nonproductive. I didnt get a bigger SD card and the 1 gb that it comes with is definitely not big enough. Heading home in a few mins. Will have more info on the set up either later tonight or tomorrow before I head out for my trip. Oh yeah, I also borrowed a 60 CSx to take on the trip. Wanted to kinda do my own comparison. See, I told you I was still a NOOB. In all seriousness I am still finding new styles and hides. And I can't find an ammo can hidden in California shrub brush to save my life. Where in California are you? My first find was 20 mins from L.A. and it was an ammo can. Theres pleanty out there.

I have spent the last few days reading the threads on the pn 40. I couldn't help myself and ordered one today to be delivered tomorrow. Heading out to the Colorado River this weekend from Los Angeles and I'm looking forward to playing with it all weekend long. I wanted to thank all of you for all the great advise. I will try to have all the PQ's ready for its arrival. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions and I'm glad you're all here to help.
