  1. 10 and 15 are great ages for geocaching. Recognize that, especially at 10, you're committing the parents to go along for safety, but that's part of what I love about geocaching, going with my kids. I think just about any age can be good for geocaching. It's more a matter of if the activity appeals to an individual. There are some folks out there who don't understand what the fun is, wandering around looking for trinkets. I don't know what's wrong with them, but they are out there. :-)
  2. When I see a cache in someone's yard and suspended above the cache is a cage hanging from a rope, I usually abort. Call me funny that way.
  3. I assume the problem with the multi-tool is that it includes a knife? My son has this problem for another reason. He would like to have a multi-tool with him all the time, because he's a "fixer". He likes to fix stuff. However, he can't find one that doesn't have a knife, so he can't take it to school.
