Page 13 in the manual shows how to change time zones.

The path is: Menu/Setup/Time..choose zone press enter. Hope this helps. I don't think it has a wake up alarm tho.

My guess is if you know what this does,

setting the correct time on your etrex should not be a problem. icon_biggrin.gif

  3. If I ever wake up to go caching and there is snow on my lawn icon_eek.gif it would be time to pack. I have the coordinates for Negril icon_cool.gifJamaica locked in just in case. I was born in Nebraska, raised in Wyoming and lived in Colorado and Wisconsin. If I ever see another snow flake it will be too soon. But to each his own.

  5. Would it be possible to have a mouseover rather than a text box with the description of the travel bugs stops? The maps get really cluttered.

If this has been mentioned and it probably has.....sorry.

Great site by the way. icon_smile.gif

I was thinking of another thread where the question was, "would you join or run away from other cachers you meet. After seeing this, I think run away fast would be my choice. Hehehe icon_eek.gificon_wink.gif

Try not to criticize anyone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Because by then you are a mile away...and you have their shoes.

  10. After the Lockerbie bombing it was noted that it was safe to fly because the chances were 1 in 5 billion that the plane you were flying on had a bomb on it. Wanting to increase the odds the statician said to put a bomb on every plane because the chance of there being 2 bombs planted on a plane were 1 in 5 trillion. icon_confused.gificon_eek.gificon_confused.gif

  12. It depends on the manufacture of the ball and how beatup. If they were beatup Top Flight x-outs maybe a bad idea. But if they were a not too bad a shape Titleist Pro V1 ($5 apiece new) then maybe. If you don't golf then you probably have no idea how bad a ball a golfer will use when he/she has run outof them. icon_biggrin.gif
