  1. Bella è molto bello! How lucky to find another elusive coin! I loved the slide show!
  2. Congrats on your 5th anniversary! May you have many more! Are your pepper shaped coins for sale? If so, I would love a couple of them.
  3. Wow! When I saw these coins, I didn't think they were for real! i didn't know you could do that with a coin! I love them. Definitely interested, put me down for a couple.
  4. Allie, Although I have never met you, you are one of the dominant forces that I have come to know on the forums. I haven't been on these forums for too long, but one thing really stood out for me. . .your design talent and enthusiasm for geocoins. I was always amazed by your creative thinking and ability to keep everything straight. I kept wondering how in the world does this person have enough time to do all of this? I haven't been lucky enough to be included in any of your projects, but when you come back (not if) I hope to see more of your projects and hopefully get there in time to be included! BTW, you have a beautiful voice, (utube). You are a girl of many talents. Don't stay away too long. Godspeed!
  5. I love frogs/toads! I love compass roses! Soooooo, I love your coin. Depending on cost and final design, I would definitely be interested.
  6. I read through from start to finish, thinking I could figure out what was going on, but alas, I am still clueless! I have never heard the term, "geocide" and I'm still now sure what it means or even what this thread is about, other than making a coin. Oh well, it wouldn't be the first time I didn't know what was going on!
  7. Wow! That was awfully nice of you guys. THANKS!
  8. Wow! I have hardly had time to visit the forums lately, but I'm glad I checked today. I just ordered a couple of each. Can't wait to see them! Thank you so much for all of your talent and hard work, Jennifer! The coin looks great and I am sure all will agree that we thank you for your idea and concept from start to finish!
  9. Email sent; I'd like to be included in the flock!

    geocoin club

I belong to 2 coin clubs and I love both of them. It is always a nice surprise to get them in the mail, like getting gifts every month. Besides, like someone else mentioned, these clubs are very generous, often giving you extra coins, pins, and pathtags.

    New Design

Ditto that one! I also like the black and white cat.
  12. I may be able to attend then. I have never been to an event, so I don't know what you do and what are the costs associated with it. It would be neat to meet some of you guys, though.
  13. Wow that was such a great story. I'm not the only one who did the flowers! Yay! Well, I thought only old people like myself did things like that when they were a kid. . .or perhaps it is a southern thing. Either way, I like the idea that it is still being done. I know the recipients always enjoy the flowers. I have never participated in one of these because the timing hasn't been right for me. It takes me a while to figure things out, so if it is done in May, it should give my feeble brain enough time to figure it out!
  14. How about Coin Addicts Coin? Afterall, isn't that what all of us on that coin are?
  15. I was just wondering what factors one considers when they choose to trade coins. Of course, there is the obvious appeal, but what else do you consider? Trackable V. Nontrackable. . .investment . . .it belongs to a friend, etc? Also, do you care how much it cost to make the coin verses what you are trading for? Just curious.
  16. Yep, definitely interested.
  17. Add me to the list. I would like a couple, too.
  18. Happy Valentine's Day to all! I love all of the pictures! Sure wish I knew how to do all of that fancy stuff!
  19. Gotta have some! Put me down for 3!
  20. NICE COIN! I hope I'm around when they come out!
  21. Wow! just saw these and would love to have a few, especially the glitter one, if possible. I went to cointracking and it said sales were suspended until Feb. 20, so I hope you will have some left for purchase. I am Filipino and Turkish by nationality, but I do live vicariously through my good-natured Irish friends!
  22. I haven't had time to respond since I posted this, so first, I would like to say thank you to all of the suggestions. I will definitely try a few. When I read about PlantAKiss' experience with the guy in the car, it really creeped me out. Thank goodness you had a dog with you! I swear that is my worst nightmare come true. Did you happen to get the guy's license plate? You were very observant and astute and I am sure that guy noticed that and didn't progress farther. Thank God you are safe! I am from the Richmond area (military brat, so I was born there and eventually came back for high school) and I went to Meadowbrook High, but graduated from Manchester High. I noticed that Purpleblobofqoo(?did I spell that correctly) invited you to geocache with them. Although, I am 3.5 hrs away from you guys, if you get your group together, I would love to join you guys! Are there some cool caches near you?
  23. If this has already been done, please feel free to point me in the right direction and close this thread, BUT, I was wondering if someone could tell me about getting the correct waypoints when you are hiding a cache. I am getting ready to place my FIRST cache and I want to be sure the coordinates are correct. (I have a Magellan Sportrex). I read somewhere that you are supposed to average, if your GPS has it. I am not sure what that is, or if my Magellan has it (although, I do remember seeing averaging at one point on the screen, but I don't know where it came from or how to get it back). I have taken a waypoint (at least I think I have) at the site, walked back to my vehicle, entered the point and returned to the area. I did this 4 times, and got 4 different readings, each off by a couple of seconds and none seem to be exactly on the spot. Is there anyone out there that can help me? I would really appreciate it, as I am sure the cachers attempting the find would, too. Degai
