  1. Think of it this way. If you're close to a Cache GZ and someone comes along. You won't give away the caches location.
  2. I love Earwigo. Having never done anything like it before I have now made 3 Wherigos which have been well received and played several times with great feedback. (I have to admit to not using any if-then-else statements, but that is to come. Due to ill health in the family I have not looked at the programme for some time. Last night I decided to start a new Wherigo and (I struggle with memory issues) was able to get right back into it. I'm grateful to the makers, as creating Wherigos has given me a lot of pleasure (And earned me quite a few favourite points) Please keep up the excellent work.
  3. Hi I'm not great at these forum things so bear with me. I have created 2 Wherigos using Earwig and have started a new one with questions and answers. I am very disappointed in the user interface on android. Can I get hold of the beta of the Wfplayer?
  4. Hi Guys I have just uploaded a Wherigo to the Wherigo site but don't know how to get friends to get it for testing. Can anyone advise?
  5. Or an Intercache which takes less technical know-how. Are Whereigos available to all Geocaching.com members?
  6. I am confused as to whether virtual caches are still allowed. I want to do a virtual tour of my home town in Wrexham but the places I want to draw attention to are not suitable for actual caches. Too much foot flow etc. What can I do intesad?
  7. When setting up a Multi cache. There is one thing I am unsure of. When placing a standard cache you check the location is free of other caches. So! If I don't put let's say stage 2 and 3 on the Geocaching website, how can I be sure no-one will put another cache by mine or vice versa. Hope this question is understandable.
  8. I am aiming to get the 31 days geocoin and was wondering: If I'm half way through and suddenly get a dry day (No caches found but looked for) if I record the DNF can I still go for the coin or do I have to start again?
  9. You lost me at Curious. Is there anywhere I can get a guide for this! I've downloaded GSAK but am not familiar with it!Where do I even start? If you have all the info. on your handheld you really don't need it on the Nuvi.....what you want is the caches to show on your Nuvi so you can auto-route to them if you want.In GSAK, create a database using your PQ from GC.COM. Start your Nuvi and manually delete all waypoints. Connect the Nuvi to the computer.....Using MyComputer/Windows Explorer go to the Nuvi and delete all GPX files in the /Garmin/GPX folder. In GSAK click on GPS then SETUP and select your Nuvi model. Then using GSAK load your new database to the Nuvi by clicking on GPS then SEND Waypoints. This will load the caches as Favorites and you will see the cache icons easily even when zoomed way out. Maybe I'm not making myself clear! Yes I can put caches on my Nuvi, but then the only way of finding them is to scroll round the map until I find the right one. It would be great to be able to use a search function on the name!
  10. That would be a big help. I still can't get to grips with it!

  12. I have a Garmin Nuvi in my car and want to put caches onto it!. I have generated a pocket query but when I send it to my GPS all that shows is the GC code and I can't search by name. I transfer to my handheld GPS with everything. Name, GC code, Description, hints etc. How do I do this on my Garmin Nuvi! Please help!
  13. If you have already found and logged a cache find and later find out there is a TB or Geocoin in it. Are you able to return to the cache to retrieve them?
