  1. Isn't that uploading photos "picture by picture"? Hence why I said what I said up there
  2. The owner will e-mail you if something is wrong with your answers. I was one of those geocachers. I sent my e-mail yesterday, today I got an e-mail from the CO thanking me for the visit to the EC and hoping that he helped me understanding a little more of the geology involved.
  3. The full app on an iPhone. If the link for "open in app" is selected it always fails. The "open in website" has to be selected every time. Thanks. Are you running iOS9? If so, then they've cahnged the way it works. Before it would just open the app, not it will say "Safari/Mail want to open Geocaching" and you have to press OK for it to work.Try clearing out the browser's cache, but I can't guarantee this works.
  4. Whenever this happens you can use a website like http://isup.me to check if it is yur problem or if it the website's problem.
  5. You do need to upload them picture by picture, I believe. To do this, simply visit the log and upload another image.
  6. Personally, I take it as both. It is always more to the side of incentive, as I am not achieving something extraordinary, because I see it as a way for everybody to celebrate a "festive" day. I've strived to get all these time related souvenirs, as it is works as a real souvenir: Look, I've been out geocaching to celebrate the International EarthCache Day, and along with me, so have other thousands of geocachers!
  7. Are we talking about the Intro or the Full App? Are we talking about iPhone or Android? You've posted on the Website section, you should have posted on the specific board, but a moderator will move the post, don't worry. Please just make sure to provide those details so we can help.
  8. I don't quite get what you mean... If you want to know how to delete a log from your cache, you just have to go to your geocache's listing and on each log you'll find a "View Log". After you click it you'll be redirected to the log's page and here you'll find a red trash can. Click it to delete a log. In case you want to delete duplicate logs of yours, check this Groundspeak help article: https://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=550
  9. God dadgum you! I had seen it before but wasn't expecting it to be on your reply! Nice one
  10. Or, my brother's T-Shirt: "I'm not lost, I'm just geocaching"
  11. "Never mess with a geocacher, we know the best places to hide a body"
  12. And to remember, the geocache must first be published which implies it has been approved by a reviewer!
  13. Not a picture of mine, nor a train, but I've found a geocache in this little guy!
  14. Airport geocaches already exist. What you are suggesting is 100% agains the rules. "People of all ages hide and seek geocaches, so think carefully before placing an item into a cache. Explosives, ammunition, knives, drugs and alcohol should not be placed in a cache. Respect local laws at all times. Please do not put food or heavily scented items in a cache. Animals have better noses than humans, and in some cases caches have been chewed through and destroyed because of food items in a cache."
  15. There is indeed a way to do this, however the result isn't as good as you are expecting. The process that I will describe will allow you to upload a picture to the cache "info". This means that if you access the galery of the geocache (either on website or on a Geocaching App) or if you click on the image link (there's a picture list when you scroll down, just below online maps and above the virtual logbook) you will still be able to view the picture, however, by default, you won't be able to see it on the geocache's listing. To accomplish what I've described above, you're gonna have to open the Listing for the Geocache that you own and then, on the right bar, the Admin Tools bar, you're gonna have to select "Upload a Picture". You'll be then redirected to a new webpage where you can upload the picture. Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but it may help.
  16. Hi, I'm pretty sure there are thousans upon thousands of these out there. However, remember this is an international forum so you might want to specify the area where you are seeking for these caches!
  17. I've seen birthday geocaches, but the cache itself had nothing to do with birthday, only the listing was related to the theme. To be ablee to help you, I'd like to ask if you could provide more details: What size are you thinking about? Is it a urban geocache? Do you pretend it to be a gadget cache or a regular cache with a B-day theme?
  18. For logbooks, use a sandwich bag with a ziploc. For the container itself, LockLock are the recommended containers.
  19. The recommended maximum time to keep a TB, without a warning, is 2 weeks. However, let's say that the person who took your TB messaged you saying "Hye, I've noticed that your TB's goal is to travel to Italy. I'll fly to Italy in 1 month, mind if I keep it until then?" then you are aware of the situation, and it's up to you if you want to tell them that they should keep it or not. In your case, 3 months is too much time, from my point of view, so I guess a little poke wouldn't harm!
  20. Hi, If you are currently a premium member, I don't believe you will be able to renew the membership until it's gone through the geocaching app. However, if you do it through geocaching.com you will be able to do so, and the membership time will "accumulate".
  21. Have you checked your bank account already? Has the transaction happened?
  22. That would be amazing, however custom plates are not supported in my country. I guess all I can do it buy a TB sticker like Wet Pancake Touring Club's and stick onto a car
  23. Hello, The answer is quite simple: yes. After you have found the cache, it is found. It will remain on the list of you found caches as well as it will remain part of the ammount of geocaches you have found. Regarding the second topic: If you decide that you don't want to renew your premium membership, you will still be able to view the premium caches on your found list. However, if you open the listing for one of those premium caches, it will not give you the details of the geocache, such as the coordinates, just like if you were a basic member seeking a premium cache that you had never found. If you'd like to know anything else don't hesitate to ask. HCompleto
