I like every one else losses coins to unknown . but i have been able to get over it a little easier by if it was a personal coin and i had drilled it witha tag than i know it is not going to show up on ebay. and cant be showed around . So if the person that found it liked it soo much that they had to keep it , it make it a little easier I have given away a lot of unactivated coin or left them behind in caches so a defaced one is no big deal. But it does suck. But i can deal with it. If you just can't deal with losing them them you shouldn't let them go. If you can deal with the lost then you can get the pleasure from the ones that keep moving. Karma is a powerful force ..

I 'll put a couple of coins in the mix This is my 4th time i now how it works and still always mess it up any way But it is always a good time

perhaps you could team up witha coin to use the hand made coins as a pattern to to make a geocoin with regular methods and much like an artist will sell copies of a original artwork the originals even a run of 10 or 15 originals would be more valuable , and it would also allow you to share your artwork and design with more People . Great work hope you continue to enjoy and share your hobby

I am not a must have every kind I usually like le but if its a coin i really like would just pick the finish i like the best. The whole le lexx aelx ..... has really got out of hand in my opinion. The last couple of coins i have done usually have two finishes so people get a choose Chocolate or vanilla senerio, And then i will get some coin in a different finish for me. I usually try to avoid calling they le incase i want to make more for me or even Ae even thought i am the artist I will refer to then as my personalcoin Gives me something to offer for trade that people wont have so i can do some trading. There was one coin in the last year with i think 37 different versions and i think alot were le type versions ,it was a very niice coin. But you have to wonder the motive behind 37 ddifferent versions. When it first came out i think it had 6 version and i thought that was alot man did i call that wrong. There are a lot of great hard to get coins that are not le they are just good coins. If i put coins on ebay if its a re or a le of my own coins they both start at the same price.

This is my vote i really like yemon's and Geok's both great coins but my favorite from this year is jellyfish coin simple , but very cool .

I discovered geocaching a few years ago.. Loved the chance to use the gps i had and was a good excuse for a walk. I don't get to actually go caching as much as i would like but life is like that. I'm in to caching for the long term so get caches now or a couple years from now it doesn't matter to me. As for the coins probably hooked right away was totally fascinated by the idea that anyone could make there own coin. I told a friend at work about caching and coins and he caught it worse than me. While i was designing my first coin and drawing and redrawing it and coming up with the saying for the back. he contacted a designer and had his first coin with in a few months . But the idea that these little pieces of art were being appreciated and sought after all over the world was and still is a great feeling. As for the forums this was also a new thing i had never been a forum person before i am probably more of a lurker . But do try to contribute once in a while . and i do enjoy reading the new threads and of course the Drama is always interesting It is like having a really really large family . I am thankful for everything that geocaching has done and given me and the chance to meet and talk to many new an interesting people And of course all those shiny little pieces of metal.

I think if you are the first to find It would be a gift for that accomplishment and not totally fall in the trade even rule. Congrats on both

I'm sure this has been done by someone. Putting a dissposible camera or cheapy digital attached to a travel bug. Any results from someone doing this Anyone know of bugs out there or in the past. Just wondering
