I enjoy reading about someone's adventure related to that cache. A well written log can arouse my curiosity about a cache that I may have otherwise overlooked. I like to think of it as a "review".

Some apps look for caches at websites in addition to Geocaching.com so it might be that Neongeo finds it somewhere else that doesn't involve the level of membership. Of course, it requires that someone has put the cache on the other site ...

Check your settings on Geocaching Plus to make sure that you're showing caches from geocaching.com, opencaching.com & geocaching.su. I use 2 free apps: Geocaching Live & Geocaching Plus. Personally, I like Geocaching Plus better than Geocaching Live.
