I have owned the GC for a year, now the joystick is almost broken (rubber peeled off, won't "click" anymore). I am not satisfied. I'm actually looking to buy and etrex 10 because it is more reliable and much simpler (the GC's interface is slow and glitchy, and the gps takes too long to connect). In my opinion, don't go with the GC, it may be cool but it is not a very rugged and reliable device. -Jeff

I agree that peanut butter containers are very good. I covered one with fake leaves to protect it and to add some camo, so I hope it lasts a while! So far it has been buried in the snow for about a week and a half and is keeping out water. I would recommend a PB jar because they are very inexpensive and are the perfect size.
