Our travel bug mafia duck tb was dropped of at THE ARCH in New York gckkkq but the cacher didn't log it. now they have emailed me to get the number so they can move it but I have lost the tag and don't have the number! 6. I took the mensa test and got 29 out of 30 right. So why do I fall down so much?
  7. They just started selling these and we just ordered some I can't wait! http://opentopic.Groundspeak.com/0/OpenTopic?a=tpc&s=1750973553&f=3000917383&m=6380919255
  8. good idea brdad I already emailed them so we will see what happens.
  9. We did go out this morning and found the cords were off and did fix the cords on the cache. And if they would have decripted the clue they wouldn't have had a problem. Also I do hope that they hit the wrong button on mistake archiving a cache solely on the grounds of bad cords is a little extreme.
  10. So we recently had a problem with a new cache we placed the cords were off by 30 feet. And the last two people who found it seemed pretty unhappy about it one went as far as to post a should be archived. We have found a few caches in our time that the cords were way off but it never bothered us I guess we always thought that it was part of the adventure and would always post the cord were we found it in our log to help the next person. How does everyone else feel about this??????
  11. WOW Look at that it say exactly that!!! Sorry the sun must have fried my brain.............
  12. No mater what I do my state map (florida) will not show the caches I have found just current and new caches. Any one else having a problem or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I've never understood why some people place caches in badly trashed areas. I'm not talking just a few pieces of litter...I'm talking about some real dumps! George I understand your point but the area isn't a dump. It's actually a very nice and clean state preserve.
  14. Should this cache log be delete. Since they didn't find the cache just a empty 5 gallon bucket. What would you do? http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=51451 [This message was edited by Nobonis & Bump on January 29, 2003 at 04:23 PM.]
  15. quote:Originally posted by Blue Man:I'll never understand why people pride themselves on large reptile collections. How big are the tupperware containers you keep them? Most are shoe-box sized. Pretty much sucks if you live in one. I don't buy the argument of keeping them for breeding. Who do you sell to? More people who like to keep reptiles in tupperware. I don't believe that captive breeding programs really do much to stop illegal trade, either. Blueman, I understand your point tupperware container can't be much fun to live in thats partialy one of the reasons why I stoped breeding reptiles and the up keep was killing me and there is a huge retail business of selling captive born reptiles check out www.kingsnake.com and wether you beleive it or not captive breeding does help releave pressure on local collecting and importing but sadly it will never stop it completely. And let me say that I am against collecting reptiles in the feild when I was younger I took home everything I found now I am happy with my pictures and log books. And I am against stupid people who keep LARGE reptiles to show off to there friends. I have 3 reptiles in my collection as of present a dumerils boa a everglades ratsnake and a ridgeback musk turtle all were born in captivity and all are in very large cage not tupperware and I have had them for many years.
  16. Personaly I love finding all reptiles and amphibians while geocaching from cottonmouths to corn snakes I love them all! I have lived in south florida all my life and have been collecting and breeding reptiles and amphibians for 20 years. I get as excited to find a diamondback or a gopher tortoise as I do finding a cache. So whats in your personal collection?
  17. So today we were thinking that everyone else in florida has one why not down south? Is anyone interested? We were thinking maybe at the koreshan state historic site this place has great opportunities for fishing, boating, canoing, kayaking oh and geocaching. let me know if you have anyother ideas. Thanks Nobonis
