well i personall have started to notice more people in the younger age groups(myself being the age of 23) getting more and more interested in geocaching. many of my peers i have told seem quiet intriged with the whole idea. and there are a few people in my area caching already as well. but still i think a event or something is a great idea.

For those that don't know Geocoding: Assigning a geographic coordinate, such as a latitude/longitude pair, to a data record (also called geolocating). hi i am not shur who can answer this but i thought id post it anyways to see what pops up. Ok I was Wondering! what the best geocoding software is. also if theres is any software that will geocode an address and save it as a waypoint to a gps. just wondering.

thanks for your responses and stuff it seems more ppl like the garmin its to bad you cant expand the memory on it but 56 mb is quite a bit from the sounds of it. i wasnt shur how much the garmin would hold in respect to the files sizes. anyway hopfully ill pick up that new gps soon. thnx

i was wondering the same thing my self From what ive seen one of the major differinces is the expandible memory on the explorist 600 but the garmin 60cs has some really kewll features too. i think it probably will come down to what i need more the ability to load more maps and larger ones or the kewl features of the garmin. some one help us decide.... i am not shur where MACseeker lives but i know where i live in Canada there are not a lot of caches in a small area they seem to be spread out pretty far so for me i am kinda tempted to go with the explorst 600 for the fact you can expand the memory. but i would like to here more about the feature diferences between the two.. thnx
