I have a cunning plan for my next hide, it will be only my second hide mind you, so some feedback on this idea would be appreciated. Within the main cache container I have another container of the same kind, but smaller obviously. The second container with its own swag, logbook, pen and stash note is what I intend to be the FTF prize. I'll be leaving a note explaining that the cache within the cache is for them to hide as they see fit. Whattaya reckon?

The paperless method described in geocacher-u (the above link) can be a little cumbersome. I spent a day learning the various methods of paperless geocaching a few days ago and the Spinner-Plucker method is good but the GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) - Cachemate method is excellent. One thing I like about GSAK is that it sends data to both your PDA and to your GPS unit. Heres how it goes.. 1 I save the .gpx file from the pocket query (learning about pocket queries, while not difficult is another subject altogether) 2 then I open .gpx file in GSAK 3 use GSAK to send to Palm PDA (File>Export, etc) 4 sync the palm. 5 use GSAK to send the data to the Garmin. Whole process takes me about 1 minute. So in short, you need CacheMate on your Palm and GSAK on your computer. Go from there.

3 Del Norte units.. that are fantastic, although, very expensive and mostly useless for geocaching and in fact not all that good for navigating in general. 1 Satloc of some sort that I avoid using if possible 1 Garmin 100.. (Old School!!!) that Im pretty sure still works but sits in the cupboard with all the other junk I cant bring my self to throw away. 1 Garmin 96c 1 Garmin eTrex

Not working for me.. My first query returned no results (too many checked boxes) ok.. so I ran a new query, seemed to work ok, plenty of caches in the preview but I havn't received any new emails ???
