Could you tell me is this the app, that gives the locations of the geocaches without even being a member or logging in to geocache.com. I made all my caches premium members only, And we still have the thieves stealing the coins and travel bugs. It might not give the cords to non-members but the map is what gets them to the cache.

I got out of caching a few years ago and now im back. My explorist will not let me put the files on the SD card from GSAK program. I have tried everything and Ideas Also my computer does not see the magellan

Thank you all so much for the input. I don't want to rock the boat, I can leave his account there , I just thought that Groundspeak would want the space. I have adopted his coins. My last event was in his honor. He will be missed and even though he could not do to many hard caches being disabled ,he did love the sport and was always behind any thing I did with geocaching . I thought this was all about finding geocache's, nice to pick up a coin that needs to travel. But I think the coin concept has got way out of hand. I have over 250 Soldier coins out there and on my pages if it has traveled for a year I ask for it to be sent back so I can give it to the family member, Then I put out the proxy so the family can still see where he travels. The Soldiers page reads , The Original Coin goes to a family member of this soldier. After I had some of the soldiers memories stolen. I started In Jan putting out a proxy and give the tag to a family member at our events or mailing to family. If they will steal a soldiers memory coin tag they will steal any thing . I do have some in your area Badd7 , and it is up to you if you want to move the Soldier on his way . USA 45

Steel City Babes, Your not that far from me, and I have had my soldiers tags dropped by friends of mine in caches and then the next cachers says there are not there. Well I got checking and it seems like it is always the same person who said the coin was not there right after my friends drop them. These people have dripped of well over a hundred so I know it's not them. I'd like to catch this one. What kind of thrill does this jerk get out of taking a Soldiers memory. I have had a few come up missing in W.Va. and N.C. and VA. USA 45

Ok, I think I see the problem now. The one that I looked at did not have an url in the background box, for some reason (it looks like several of them don't). I looked at the urls you used on some of the others, and on the one that worked.
I think that what you need to do is make sure that the url has jpg at the end. See if that fixes it.
Thank you very much that was the problem. trying to get all 21 up for reviewer gave me a headache lol so I must have left that out. Thanks again USA 45

Isn't a Cache Tag trackable on GC.com?
I don't know ,I have never seen one, I do know that there is a cachers who has a square copper tag that says GEOCACHING on it and he put them out in a lot of OHio caches.

I glanced at the edit page for one of your new caches, and there is no picture url posted in the "Background Image URL:" box.
Did you post the url there?
yes I did and when I copied and pasted it there was one word <body and thats it , the other that have the url in them still does not have back round. only one that has it is Master Sgt. Carney

Funny now there is only one cache out of 21 that has back round. So I guess they are still working on it.

I put out 21 tribute caches got have of them listed for my reviewer and all the back rounds and color were there . I finished placeing the rest and added back round and color and it is not there. I know they were working on it after I listed the first 17 but now I listed the last 4 and nothing. I did notice when I went back in to a few listing I have the backround code but there is no back round. USA 45
I'm confused...I don't see 17 caches listed in your account, so can't tell which ones are having trouble. Can you post a link of one that has the background/colors and one that doesn't? (if the ones that don't have the colors aren't published yet, then we won't be able see them)
All 21 are up for reviewer, not published till the 10th of aug. Halft have the back round others don't after they worked on it. and I have same url for the back round on all.

Family coin is like swag, you leave it for someone in a cache. Challenge coins you can find where Path tags are. just google Path tags. There are other Military places that sell challeng coins. When my husband was in the service there were no challenge coin lol. OLD OLD OLD lol. MAGC has a lot of Miltiary coins out there that are trackable. You just have to google the words and you will find something. USA45

I don't think its a challenge coin, Maybe a family coin ,I do see a 4 digit number on the coin also it looks like 2007 but If could be trackable some wheres else. USA45

The Coins you purchesed was ment to be released in the wild since you are not the owner and more or lest donated your money to have a coin released in his name. I don't think that USA coins would want you to make a copy, Since it belongs to them I would ask first. USA 45

Oh by the way if there was a problem with you making this coin design I think Groundspeak would have asked you before they approved it for your codes. (Tennessee should have some input as to the design if it is a Tennessee coin) Hummm never of heard this before for any state coin. USA 45

reason I'm asking my daughter was finding them before I got her to become a premium member. I just hate it when caches are taken and usually if it is an ammo box they all have disappeared . Some of them put the contents
in a plastic container. Which that's fine. I have found out that since I got back into geocaching, there is very little Etiquette used anymore . Things sure have changed Thanks for the reply USA 45
