Is This Disrespectful?
Team Flying Dachshund replied to SCP-173's topic in General geocaching topics
COOL -
If that is your problem that take a lookhere. This is one of the coolest inventions ever. I don't realize why nobody had thought of it before now. If you want to se a really cool camera with AAA batteries try this one. If you think it looks too good to be true I personally own one and find that it is the best thing for Geocaching. It feels like it is not even there it is so light. It actually has good pic quality for its size and is very easy to use. I recommend it to anyone who likes to travel light. Why doesn't anyone make just a batteries or B batteries??? AAA,AA,C,D somebody does not know their alphabet very well

Do You Care About Ftf Treasures?
Team Flying Dachshund replied to Mud Puppy's topic in General geocaching topics
I have only 2 FTF finds so far. They are only micros but I am happy i got them. The only reason I got them was because Bilderback was out of town. He is FTF king around here. You try to find something before him and you will be 2tf every time. For a FTF around here he must be out of town. the FTF prize I got was a beautiful habercaher FTF token. It is sooooo pretty. -
I have am the happy owner of one of habercacher FTF prizes. I wish I could make something that cool and good looking but sadly I don't have the equipment. I was thinking about buying some carbines form this cool store. They seem to have bought 50,000 from the manufacturer. The most common Geo injury is falling off a steep slope. hopefully with this I may encourage some people to buy ropes and climbing carbines of these sort of things. I don't want to loose some of the great cachers in our area because of an injury . They seem to be very strong ( the large ones have a 200 lb max) They are only $.50 each. Now that is a deal. This would support a few people in my are and the rest will hopefully catch on the the idea. Feel free to make them your sig item too. It seems like this store needs some buisness.

60c/s Lanyard Mount
Team Flying Dachshund replied to mochalatte's topic in GPS technology and devices
I am not sure if this will work bou could you just attache the lanyard to the lanyard string that allready comes with the 60cs? It may be a little clumsy but it will work. -
Does anyone have a makeshift hard case for the 60c and 60cs that lets you operate / view it and lets you use the buttons without taking it out of the case? Any ideas?
