    Pi Day?

Does anyone know if there will be a Pi Day coin this time round? It's only just under 4 months away, so I thought I'd ask. I plan on holding a Pi Day event here.
  2. Congrats ! I love the purple Karma ! Ditto on the purple Karma !! The other side of it is green and looks like this: Green/purple, my two favourite colours!
  3. Coins received in the mail today... Two that have been on my wants list for ages!
  4. I have friends in Somerset, so I've been to (and hosted once) events there and I cache down there quite often. I met Ernie just a couple of times, but found him to be a really nice guy; very patient and helpful as a reviewer. My condolences to his family and friends. As others have said, he will be remembered and missed.
  5. "Cuddles" is what he called his version. Have a look at the Patchwork Dragon thread, it's on there. I'm sure he's really fond of you as well, though...
  6. Also GC2M0AF The British Library. The only "Large" sized cache in Central London, plus it's a really fun and interesting cache to find. I'd really recomend it to visitors. It's a multi. If you've not found it before it takes about 45 minutes to work out where it is. I won't give it away, but I'll just say it's also a really safe place to leave trackables.
  7. For anyone planning on going to the Halloween Mega in a couple of weeks: There was a problem that meant they've had to change venues. It's still pretty near the old venue. Details in the announcement log here: http://coord.info/GLFVF7Z7 ...and continues here: http://coord.info/GLFVF811
  8. Do you still have sets of these for sale?
  9. Awesome coins. Congratulatoins! Question: What is the creature-shaped coin on the left, just above the two hedgehogs?
  10. I have absolutely no doubt that you would sell every coin you brought over. I think the only limit on how many you'd sell is how big a suitcase full of coins you were willing to carry over.
  11. Mine doesn't. It's still the generic gray circle geocoin. Mine got an icon today, but it's different to the one you have above. Mine looks like this: Hmm, can you link me to your coin? You might have this one: http://shop.geocaching.com/default/7sofa-achiever-geocoin.html I have this one: http://www.coinsandpins.com/geo-achievement/7-souvenirs-of-august-geo-achievement-coin Yeah - I've just realised that's the case. Mine is the Groundspeak one rather than the C&P one.
  12. I have a caching trip to Ireland booked for next April. I'm going to drive around and see the country, and I want to make sure I get GC43 plus all 5 souvenirs.
  13. Yes it is the 204 coin. here is a german shop which sells the same coin Shop It's definitely the 2014 coin, but the German shop has sold out (that's what the red square on the right hand side means, plus you'll see when you try and order it). I spent ages getting one, and I was told by Groundspeak that the "Special Edition" label means that this coin will not be reminted: once they are all sold then they will be gone. I have no idea how many they made in the first place though. If you want one get one soon!
  14. A good reason to summon Cthulhu...
  15. Pi is 3.1416, not 3.1415. Whaaaaa?? CF30 It depends whether you're looking at significant digits of Pi, or whether you're rounding it up.
  16. I'm really new here, but I prefer the forum. The blue place is much less personal.
  17. Pi is 3.1416, not 3.1415. Pi is 3.1415926 3/14/15 9:26am If you want to go for ten digits of Pi you can even add seconds to the time: 3/14/15 9:26:53am
  18. Pi is 3.1416, not 3.1415. Pi is 3.1415926 3/14/15 9:26am
  19. Aww they are really cute I would love to trade for them for something I have, if you looking to part with them Pan ~Valarie of sweetlife ~Keep On Caching! Sorry Vallarie. They are staying with me. They only make 50 of each one, they are individually numbered (Chantalle is 33/50 and Berta is 17/50), and I've been trying to get my own GeoTurtles for a long time. These are not going anywhere. They will be activated and added to my collection. Are you sure the bluish one is Berta? Looks like a silver colored metal and the pic on the shop shows Berta as a gold metal. Yours seems to look more like Herbert, with the silver metal. Maybe the shop posted wrong name by wrong pic ... ?? Its just the lighting in the photo. The actual coin definitely looks like Berta: white/silver glitter and gold metal. In real life the metals of my two coins are exactly the same colour - it's just the shells that are different
  20. Ok... I think it may be time to admit I have a problem... I'm definitely addicted to geocoins... Another new mail delivery just now... A set of the Red Baron geocoins. Since this year is the 100th anniversary of World War 1, I had to get them.
  21. The thread about it is called "Adding New Address Book". Here you go: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=175199
