Where Are The Pictures?
jeff35080 replied to jeff35080's topic in Getting Started with Waymarking (Read-Only)
Duh <smack forehead with hand> there it is 'View Gallery' at the bottom of each waymarked airport. I can't believe I didn't see that earlier. I guess I'm just used to looking at a locationless log where you can instantly see the pictures. Jeremy, is there any way to make the pictures viewable without having to make an additional 'click' on a hyperlink? -
Where Are The Pictures?
jeff35080 replied to jeff35080's topic in Getting Started with Waymarking (Read-Only)
One person that has logged my airports category has told me that they 'did' upload pics... Jeremy could you take a look at my pending logs for airports and see if you can see any pictures? -
The Law In Other Countries
jeff35080 replied to Haggis Hunter's topic in Getting Started with Waymarking (Read-Only)
Uh.... nobody ever complained when my AV8R locationless cache was active on gc.com and I don't really see how it will be a problem now that it's a waymark category. Just to be on the safe side, if you are in Greece, please don't take any pictures of airports and log my waymark category There, I feel better having offered a disclaimer -
When someone logs my Airports category with a new waymark or a log of a waymark and I go to accept or decline the entry I don't see where they have uploaded pictures... does that make sense? Basically, where do I view the uploaded pictures because I'm not seeing them on the logs. Help

So, this means you won't be Photoshopping pictures and making false claims like you did on numerous Locationless caches? -

Email Wording - Minor Bug
jeff35080 replied to caderoux's topic in Getting Started with Waymarking (Read-Only)
Basically when you get an email from someone it states that it came from yourself instead of the person that really sent it. You have no way of knowing who sent you the message... or at least that's how it was in the one I got yesterday (that I already deleted, I wish I had saved it to show you but it looked just like the OP's) -

Yeah, I've gotten one of those also -
I would just disable the cache for a week or two then put one back in the same spot.

How long is it taking to have our locationless caches converted to waymarks? I followed the email instructions and emailed my GC ID number yesterday, but haven't heard anything and it's not yet been converted. I'm just curious and figured others might also be curious.

I just wanted to post another note letting all our friends in the UK that we are once again saddened by more attacks by terrorists in your country There's not much I can do as a single American, but rest assured that as our friends and allies, our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Thanks For The Earthe-cache.....

I'll admit that I was initially against Earthcaches, but have changed my mindset about them. I now own two of them. This was my first one: Here Ore There Earthcache And this weekend I had someone drive 10 hours just to log it... after all, how often do you get to visit an asteroid crater in Alabama : Asteroids - Not the 80's Video Game Earthcache I'm sure there are some lame Earthcaches, but I do think they do serve a purpose and many of 'em really are educational. -
Krylon Fusion paint seems to work better than standard spray paint.

A geocache at a dam? Hmm..... I thought that was discouraged?
