  1. Yes because that's exactly what people think when they see these items: survival. eyeroll
  2. I recently found a (thankfully un-used) condom in a cache and tossed it. It had been there for 6 months (I know this as there was a log mentioning the certain person leaving it and the date) with several cachers visiting it afterward. I swear I'm turning into a caching snob but it made me so angry that they couldn't just remove it >__> like, be decent. It should be common knowledge that something like that shouldn't be in there. And what's up with leaving gum? It gets all soggy and leaves the cache sticky/smelly... and who would eat gum like that in the first place? .__.' Yeah, just toss things like that. We carry around trash bags for CITO and stuff like this. Fortunately we also carry along a lot of extra swag to fill up the caches afterward also. Helps out your fellow cacher
  3. One time in particular when my partner and I were doing a cache in California. Keep in mind we were still pretty new at it and were in the "gps knows!!!" stage. We arrived at the supposed coordinates which were about 100 feet away. We couldn't get to them as there was barbed wire fence. So we found a trail along it and took it which only ended up taking us super far away... soo we took a hike into the vast dry and painful grass. There were barbs and the grass was tall... being a native of the area I knew the serious rattlesnake risk but my Jersey boy insisted we hike through it. I swear we were out there for two hours until we found the cache which could've been found an entirely different way, of course... but no one even told us this anywhere -__- Anyway by the time we got back to our car our shoes were packed with fox tails and brambles. Horrible experience XD
  4. That's good, but there's a balance. Many Geocoins are found by non-cachers who may not want to become "validated", but would be willing to put the coin back into play. Remove that option, and there's less of a chance of seeing that coin again. No what I'm saying is make it impossible for them to partake in any form of caching until they validate their account. That way they do not get their hands on a coin or trackable in the first place until they are validated. That way they provide an email dress and express an actual interest and give others an actual option to contact them.
  5. Is there any way that this will be fixed? As in will it ever be not possible for people who haven't validated to not begin caching til they have?It doesn't make an sense why they would be allowed in the first place. I'm sorry to hear about your coin.
  6. That's his car, he made it a trackable. I guess he just takes it to every cache and whomever finds it can log it as discovered.
  7. So far we've just found a baseball bat 0.0 Edit: Shoot just realized I googled this for fun and replied without thinking. Sorry for necroing it please delete my post I have no clue how to delete it. Again I apologize.
  8. Wow, a lot of you have some very beautiful items I really like the colorful ones! I would like to make my own when I find the time, but being a picky person it will be difficult for me. My partner and I have been putting out rubber ducks signed by us that we won from claw machines, another hobby we have hehe xD
  9. I like unicorns, my nickname is Uni and my real name is Vivian. Unicorn-ivi
  10. I still cant understand how people can get even just 20 or more in a day. I can understand if they're easy and right next to each other on a trail, but other than that it just doesn't seem plausible. I'm still a rookie, though, and usually can spend all day on 10 or less heh .__.
