  1. YEPPERS, you got it ! Your turn to share your wicked drawing skills : )
  2. Of course it was your rendition of the coin, but the occupation hint helped a bit also : ) now for my next louve worthy drawing.... TA DA
  3. yay thank you AlliedOz, that "option thing" worked. Now for my guess...
  4. not trying to derail the topic, but all I see when I look at any topic is the OP's opening and then just a text listing of all responses that follow. Is anyone else having this issue, or did I break something on my last guess
  5. YAY Thank you drneal !!! Your turn now. (Phew, I was feeling soooo darn guilty)
  6. mmmm.... Mark did have a somewhat close answer but didn't have a picture as the rules require, and I really don't want to be the "killer" of this topic, (it's too fun to watch). So if it's alright with the op I'll add another picture and maybe someone can come up with a name for either one of my not so good drawings and the topic can continue on : )
  7. this is too fun not to play along...here's my try oops....will post again if I can win one
  8. Shiny silver mailer with #86 landed in our mailbox today. Thank you for the great addition to our coin cabinet .... fun to be part of this alien invasion. Domestic feline taking part in the opening of the alien mailer
  9. Are they the same coins you asked about here in 2006? If so, the site seems to be gone now, so all you have to go on now is the certificate they came with I guess. One is a Greenman Geocoin, the other is The Joy of Geocaching Geocoin, #126. Both of these coins are in their original bags, with their certificates of authenticity. Since we have not been at collecting that long, we were wondering if anyone could fill us in on some info about these coins? 10. congratulations on your mystery coin nice site and presentation...someone has a great imagination : ) funny cat abduction picture
  11. I found a coin named Sheridan in geocoin club activation code list. Maybe that's it
  12. As with all your designs...I like it !! Are they just going to be for the geocoinfest, or will they be available afterwards?
  13. does he have on underpants ? yikes !! (the one on the right I mean)
  14. Way to go Mr. Yime !!! But you really have post that picture of you and the dead "real" monkey...way too funny in a morbid kinda way, and seeing that your wife found it for you is deserving of something super special for her doncha' think?
  15. You're confused because this has kind of been a collaborative thing born out of group ideas and so I'm not sure anyone has an idea yet what's going on. 1. trackable? I don't know. If it's mainly an artist's aid, it wouldn't make sense for it to be trackable. Obviously we would not be able to sell it on the forums if we went that route. 2. available to everyone? I sure hope so. I'm no one special and I want a set! 3. flashing 12:00? Maybe the AE version. At this point, I'm just asking around at the mints to see if anyone is even willing to TOUCH this project. The glows might be too much. oh okay, thank you for the explanation. I'll go back to being an observer and see what comes of it ; ) It really is a good idea !!
  16. I think I'm confused... Is this going to be a real coin that is a sample coin of all finishes/enamels for people to buy or for the coin stores to use to help those wanting a coin minted to choose the type of enamel on the coin?
  17. Honestly I am angry that this topic was started. Yeah I know you were given this coin to auction off to help with the Walter fund, crap it was in the forums everyday. Good for you. But you started this topic in what seemed to me to be a target at the seller and it's just shouldn't have been done when you don't know the circumstances. Actually, I don't know why the mickey diver was sold and frankly don't really give a dang, it's their business and conscious to live with, not mine or anyones else's. All I'm saying is that if you believe it's okay for you to sell a mc because you needed money and you had permission, why condone someone else without knowing the whole story behind it. Maybe you should have sent the seller an email before bringing it here to the forums.
  18. what? did you forget this part? even when things were so bad i had to replace the engine in my car, i only sold one of my mystery coins, donated by the maker to help out. what part of that do you not understand? and that information was in the auction description. and i made a mistake, the maker generously donated TWO coins. car engines cost about $4000. sheesh ... SHEESH.... a mystery coin is a mystery coin is a mystery coin....just because YOU needed the money it was alright ??? what part don't you understand ??
  19. Here is a link that has geocoin vendor sites. They are listed down along the right hand side when you page down a little. <Indirect sales link removed by moderator>
