  1. I might find it today,but I don't think I can get to it. http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/ it's around (dms)n413831 w0711531 DESIGNATION-WEST 1861 'LW2352'
  2. I found this: DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1913 STATION IS ON THE HIGHEST POINT OF A RIDGE ABOUT 1/8 MILE BACK OF BRISTOL LIGHTHOUSE ON WHAT APPEARS TO BE AN OLD BREASTWORK, ABOUT 100 METERS W OF THE ROAD TO BRISTOL. THE STATION IS MARKED WITH A SODA BOTTLE SURROUNDED BY GRAVEL BURIED IN THE GROUND.
  3. Is there a way to search by interstate? I looked at the 'state map' but there are too many caches near the road but not on it (a rest area). When driving most people don't want to stop for very long and 'rest area bug hotels' help as a quick find/dropoff.
  4. I should be in the 100/50 range by spring and 100/100 by this summer.
  5. quote: Also, In order to log a find, must one actually TOUCH the marker, or is visual confirmation sufficient? For instance, you see a disk, but it is three feet inside a fence and you can't get to it. If you see it, it's there. You can't 'TOUCH' a church spire.
  6. I think it's a find. (A small rod will help you find it if you think you need to)
  7. If they don't like it, they don't have to take it!
  8. quote: GEOCACHE SITE - PLEASE READThis is part of a worldwide Game dedicated to GPS (Global Positioning System) users, called Geocaching... I think that 'Game' should be 'Study' or somthing more official. It might keep noncachers from removing the cache
  9. You are in thousandths of a min.
