I was comparing the Garmins and the Magellans on the Markets. How is the explorist 500 compared to the e-trex legend? Does the explorist 500 have a compass built in? Do you need a built in compass? Or just a separate compass? thanks jen

I downloade both programs last night. I just brought the garmin legend etrex. does anyone like that one. I haven't found my first one yet. trying to figure out how to enter in the coordinates. how do you do it from the computer with the sofware. with the g-sak it keeps saying australia? very frusterating not sure what I am doing wrong? do I have to enter them in manually all in on the keyboard if u have like 50 or more that would take a long time? thanks for the help take care....jen happy 4th of july anxious to cache!!

I am new to this exciting hobby. I've been looking and reviewing the gps units on ebay this morning. I wanted to know how to track down a cache without a unit with just the numbersuntil I purchase one. When I look at a profile it will give u the numbers like the N and the W is that the Long and the Latt? I am new to this. Do u input the numbers into a map onto the computer somewhere?
