my email provider is yahoo I no longer appear to be getting the Groundspeak update email either Rather frustrating i have email both ground speak and yahoo one points the finger at the other so I believe i'm gonna be sool but I really like watching my caches and getting the Groundspeak so only solution I can think of is to set up a new email account and change my geocaching profile to reflect the new one and ask Groundspeak to send it there. I have been using yahoo for years with geocaching and never had this problem but it is a free service so as the saying goes " you get what you pay for"

Was wondering if any one has had a problem with not getting any emails telling you when people visit your cache and log it? I have not changed my email but no longer seem to be getting the groundspeack emails. I haven't had a problem before> I thought it was odd, no one had logged any of my caches and checked them on line to see they had been visited but I was never sent the log by Groundspeak? Any info would be appreciated thanks

I was in the same situation - research, which gps does both auto routing and trail - and ended up getting the delome pn-20. It has worked great for geo caching and autorouting. The plus over the garmins metioned is it already had the maps I needed - topo 7 installed at the same price I would have paid to get a similar garmin without maps of the topo 7 quality(roughly an additional $100 for the garmin maps) but it is the ford verses chev do your homework 1st

Yes, many cachers agree with you on this. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to matter to anyone who is in a position to do anything about it. Still learning alot on here - didn't know you couldn't log vituals - had already thought of a few really cool spots I have found that i know others would enjoy but were undiscovered. Glad to here it still can be done in another way.

has anyone used a metal detector to help locate snow buried cache ?
