    ISQ Finds

The plot thickens. what is happening here???? BAD DEAL Looking over the cache page it's probably because of these lines. It takes it from being a general cache to one that becomes an agenda. Again not one that I may agree with but, we need to adhere to the rules. This KSQ series is intended to honor those who came before us and show respect to those who have fought for our country. God Bless our troops in harm's way. I don't think that's it...Go to the hider's profile page and try to email him... Do you mean this? Email Address: The "send message" feature is disabled because this user is currently banned. Oooooohhhh, BANNED....hummmmmm

  17. I got an awesome gift from USYoopers! They sent me one of their geojellies because they saw that I was looking for them. Thank you soooooooo much! It was very appreciated!
  18. We'll be there this year! It will be our first MOGA and our first in our new pop up camper! We'll have a portable heater just in case it's TOO cold).
  19. I'm looking to trade for any of the geojellies (any version) and the Big Beans. I have our personal coin (in the shape of a dog tag...never sold, only traded). I also have various geotags that I'd be willing to trade as well. Trader list is out of date as my subscription ran out and I haven't renewed it yet....
  20. I found I have about 6 of our BigBean (Rosie Burgers) coins left if anyone out there wants to trade Big Beans..... Also, I really love the geojellies...and if you have any left I'd love to trade you somethin' for them (I have some coins and some PT's (those that can't be mentioned here). Is there any plan to re-do geojellies? I LOVE the small ones!!
  21. Glad to hear you are on the mend. I didn't know that you had been sick, so I am glad to log in and see that you are almost better!
  22. I love the pics! ESPECIALLY the basset hounds (wonder why THAT is!) We are a "hound" family. We got our first houns Blue in 2000 right after we were married. We then adopted a hound a year for the next 4 years or so. Albert was adopted in 2001. Ozzie in 2002, Duke in 2004, Elmo in 2006 and Rosie in 2007. They are all adopted...NO buying dogs for us! We like the senior dogs...we don't get to have them with us as long, but we just love them. Blue was 5 when we got her....we don't know her history except that she hated men (except for Mr TH), hated hats, had separation anxiety and was a "mamas girl" to the end. We lost her in March of 08 to a ruptured spleen. She was 12. Albert was around 7 when we got him. He lived with a family for 5 years and they gave him up. He was adopted by another family and they brought him back to rescue after a year saying that "he peed in the house every day". We had him for 7 years and he never peed in the house (except when it was our fault for not being home to let him out...or when the vet accidentally expressed HIS anal glands instead of Blue's at the vet...he peed on the floor right in front of us to let us know that he was mad). We lost Bert in 2007 of old age. Ozzie was next...we got him at 1.5 years old....and never will we get a hound under 5 again! Ozzie only has one eye because when he was 8 weeks old someone sprayed him in the face with a high pressure air or water hose, an ulcer formed and none of his FIVE owners in his year and a half of life ever took care of it. Those of you that have met him know that it doesn't slow him down any though. He is now around 7ish. Next was Duke. I have always loved Bloodhounds and figured they would just be "big bassets". No bloodhound rescue group would talk to us (grrrrr) so we got him from a "generic" resuce group out of AZ. Duke was "rescued" from the streets by a vet. he doesn't have a tail for some reason...no one knows why it was bobbed. He's about 8 today. Next up was Elmo. For some reason I was looking at the AZ Basset hound rescue website and saw Elmo on there....I was hooked. I drove 12 hours to pick him up (luckily the basset hound rescue group knew us and would adopt to us). Elmo was named by the 2 year old twins in the foster home he was in. We had no history on Elmo, only that he was between 8-12 when we got him (our vet guessed closer to 12). he had to have all of his teeth pulled but 12. Poor guy. But he loved life and we had him for almost 2 years. He died in Nov of 07. His heart gave out...we guess he was around 14. Lastly is Rosie, the long legged Basset. We got a call from CO basset rescue asking if we would foster a basset/bloodhound mix (since they knew we were familiar with both breeds). I said yes (as Mr TH was in Korea). The CO rescue group got her from the local shelter that was goign to put her down because she was terrified of people. For the first year after I got her (she was only a foster for about 2 days before I decided she was staying with us! lol) she would hide under the desk whenever anyone came in the house and she would slink around after they were gone for about a day smelling them and wondering where they were hiding. She has come out of her shell and loves everyone. We were told she was about 5 when we got her, but we have no clue how old she really is or what her history is. So there you have it....the TANK HOUNDS history. I won't include any of the pics of the hounds on a tank (how they got their names) since these are supposed to be pics of us and the hounds. so...... This first pic is the only picture we have of us and ALL of the "kids"....We lost Albert not too long after this picture was taken. This picture is our latest "family" picture. It was taken in December 2008. This one is a picture of Mr TH and Ozzie...for some strange reason Ozzie refused to cross that bridge to the cache...so I had to go by myself! And this last pic is of me and Rosie...we were caching in a park in Colorado Springs...it's a terrible pic of me (squinting and all), but it's great of Rosie. thanks for letting me share the story of our hounds and how we came to be "owned" by them!
