    You must purchase MapSend to download maps to Magellan gps units. Tritons use different maps than Meridian or xplorist units.

    U can disable the WAAS birds on the Meri Plat if u want. Secret Menu allows it.

    Why go backwards? If you hose the basemap you will have a nice paperweight. Just don't use the DirectRoute routing would be my suggestion.

    Just sold my Magellan Meridian Color (my 3rd Maggie BTW) and bought a Garmin Nuvi 205W! Installed the Paperless setup and must say THIS FREAKIN ROCKS!!!!! After the Magellans with limited waypoint ID space and the 250/500 cap on comments this must almost be the Holy Grail of caching. Thanks Pilotsnipes, Robert Lipe, Clyde E and anyone else involved in this deal.

    Sorry to hear that. That price DOES include the GPS. The only other software I have is burned and I won't sell that.

    The only software I could find is DeLorme TOPO 5 on DVD. Would have to ask $50 plus shipping for that.

    "Would like to buy the the lt-20, what would u take for it?" $15 plus shipping from Rome, GA 30165. For this price software will be at my discretion. That is the reason it is advertised as a "spare unit"... "what does the tripmate do?" It is an older DeLorme GPS that connects thru a serial port instead of USB.

    You must have TOPO 4.20C Go to 4.20D Patch and download the patch. It is a multipart RAR file so download it all before you extract. (You must register to download it)

    If your unit has an SD card just get a card reader and load it to the card. Pop the card in and voila'
