  1. Will those who host an event be able to log that one? As it seems unfair if they can't especially when souvenirs are involved as you can't have two events too close together in times or distance Also if you adopt a cache which you have previously found would you then loose your find
  2. I'm getting ready to do my first hide and just a quick question which probably fits on here, I emailed the people who own the land, and got an email back about 15minutes later saying sure, sounds like fun, go ahead (was expecting it to take longer) - do you send this proof to the reviewer? or just write on the cache page 'permission to place cache granted by XXX'?
  3. Sorry - I have logged that I grabbed it from them - and on the log have written where I actually got it from
  4. I found a TB yesterday in a cache, when I went to log it someone else had recorded that they had grabbed it (from the same cache I found it in) the week before. I put a note on it to say where I found it - is this the right way to have done it? or what else should I have done?
  5. so far only one couldn't find (and as I explained to the kids I thought it was because there had obviously just been maintenence work on what I was sure was GZ (and clue was magnetic - they'd painted the metal gate - the wet paint sign was still there) so told the kids it had probably been moved(or destroyed) during the painting, plan was I'd put DNF and note to the owners. Did two others before getting home and on line - to a note from the owner saying it had just been replaced that morning (after we'd looked) as someone had dropped it in to them the night before - covered in paint! Kids were adamant that we not record a DNF as we will go back and find it now it's back
  6. It may be as simple as those are microcaches - I had 3 in a row (including one which wasn't listed as micro on line which is where I planned to drop it but the original had gone missing and when replaced the owner had clearly replaced it with a micro, the first one where it could fit it was dropped off - but had some visits on the way
