is GPS ColorTRAK Satellite Navigator. I don't see any type of numbers, etc.

A friend donated a Magellan GPS to me and I have no idea how to use it to go Geocaching. I did a cache with MattandLaura but Matt wasn't familiar with the Magellan brand. I have the manual but it's so dry and boring, I would rather learn from a person. I really want geocaching to become a hobby for my whole family but I really need to figure out how to use this machine. One possible problem that Matt pointed out was that my machine only goes to 2 decimal points - I don't even know if or how I can change that. So, is anyone willing to drag me (and my kids) along for some lessons? I live in Portland, Oregon on the east side close to Gresham.

Near Gresham - we just bought our very first house. We moved from Alaska 6 years ago. I need help with everything. Once I get the GPS I'll probably ask for info about that to begin with. I'll want to do kid friendly caching to start.

I'm a stay-at-home mom with 2 small children and just recently found out about GeoCaching. A girlfriend is sending me their GPS to try out and it can't get here soon enough. Any hints, information or guiding will be well received for this newbie. I am hoping to include the entire family on this adventure. I hope you don't mind stupid questions cuz I'm sure they'll be coming from me! LOL!
