  1. Just been looking at the locationless caches and was astounded to see someone has logged 33 founds on the one cache. I could probably add another 100 to my tally if I did the same thing.
  2. Hey if I can help just yell. Hounddog and I are quite prolific in our caching and would love to help you out.I have 3 bugs out there myself with another ready to go.

  4. What a great pic and that lovely smile. WOW. Got some rocks today and will send them off on Monday. I collected them from a pile next to the cache in the Northern Territory called 'Up on the Hill" I have taken a photo of them but you will have to wait for that.
  5. Only one shopping bag. Boy you guys must be the neat and tidy people of Australia. We have big problems here in Sydney with litter. It doesn't seem to matter where you go there it is, in your face, heaps of litter. It would take a lot more than a few geocachers to clean up the areas. Yesterday I drove past what used to be the cache called Promised Land. During the Christmas fire the place was nuked to say the least. There are photos on the archived site both before and after the fires. This time however there was a huge pile of household garbage including baby things, cupboards etc. It would take more than a garbage bag to get rid of the mess. More like a truck load. Not a pretty site at all.
  6. Check this site out and you will see that the big white rabbit has a stash here as well.

  8. I would guess at around 100 Australia wide. There are some teams that have 3 or 4 in them , some couples that log under 1 name and a few singles here in NSW. We had a sleepover last weekend and 7 came. That was in the Sydney area. I know that The geoMonkeys did have a cacher profile on their site not sure if it is still there.

  10. As well as putting lots of chocolate and other assorted food stuffs in my caches I also BURY most of my caches. Maybe our wild animal population is dumb. Our kangaroos and emus can't go backwards and our koalas cant drink and our dingos think that babies are good tucker.

  12. Thank goodnes I am down under. A cache is not a good cache unless it is full of chocolates, candles, shampoo, hand-cream, fruit bars etc. No hungry critters or varmints out here. Please tell me just what is a varmint. I thought that was just something out of the Beverly Hillbillies. I will stick with our roos and drop bears.

  14. Travel bugs are meant to be moved not swapped. If you find one in a cache then swap what ever you want but just TAKE the bug and PUT it in another cache. The idea is to keep them on the go.
  15. I am watching her, she is on my list. I also released a bear this last weekend. Her name is GEOrgie and she wants to meet up with GEOrge. Get Well Bec.

  21. Here you have a really truelly Tupperware demonstrator. I have been selling the fantastic plastic for almost 15 years. I have put a few of my caches into my product but lets face it , it is an expensive way to cache unless, like me, you have cupboards full. I don't like to use it all that much as most guys don't seem to know how to put the seals on correctly. BTW our products are watertight(the round ones) and I have tested them over the years but to explain how to seal them properly without the feely touchy thing is almost impossible. How many of you guys have been to a Tupperware party? Yes we do have shopping centre carts that are stocked by different distributorships and the demonstrators take turns in manning( or should that be womaning or personing) them. They are not around all the time but we have heard here in Australia that we are to get a couple of shopfronts. Not sure what cities they will be in but that is a step forward. We must demonstrate the seals for the guarantees to hold. That is part of Tupperware. As for people calling their containers "Tupperware" when in fact they are Decor, Rubbermaid etc at least they know the forunner to them all. We all know what is meant. My latest Cache that I put down "Handle like Eggs" is in a very large Tupperware container. Unfortunately I can no longer buy that one but I have used it at several locations and keep a close eye on it.

  23. I know of 3 bears GEOrge(owned by embi) who is in Vietnam Geoffrey(owned by Ideology) who is in "Illa Wong" NSW Australia GEOrgie who is with me in Sydney Australia and about to be set free at our Geocachers Weekend Sleepover this Sunday. She has been activated but I am having trouble getting the photo on the gallery.
  24. I have 2 sticks. One is an old tocacco stick that is about 4 foot high and goes on all my caching expeditions. It is great for getting rid of cobwebs, lifting up bushes etc. It also helps me up and down the narrow paths and over creeks. It is also great to just lean on and take 40 winks. My other is one of those commercial fold up ones to get me up and down train station stairs. It also gets me a seat on the train. Unfortunately the body isn't getting any younger and arthritis tends to be a problem.
  25. I am having trouble getting my image for my TB to show. I have pulled down the bar on the edit page but when I browse it is adding numbers to the photo. No photo is comming into the box yet the image I want is there on the page.It is not showing on the gallery either. What am I doing wrong.
