  1. Auction seems to be going well. Looks like the tally has a chance to top $1000. That would be really nice.
  2. I see it is back along with some others so all is well. Thanks Castle Man
  3. Any idea why the benefit auction was pulled for the mystery geocoin?
  4. This is a tribute to grandfathers. They have not only been my rock, but a rock for those I love. Passing On I see them there beside him oh how bright their spirits shine They listen with such longing to his stories old as time Each action so deliberate so much meaning in each phrase As youth soaks up the wisdom that is passing on today A father watches silent hoping his day too will come When the children of his children long to hear the things he's done I remember just like magic how I felt so deep inside When I was but the child sitting at my grandpas side How I envy them that wonder being born within those lives From BB Guns to fishhooks and the sharpening of knives But looking as a father seems I see now even more My father steeped in wisdom which my sons so much adore His days though they be numbered still his heart shines like a gem And my sons sit there beside him for his time is now for them
  5. We have one in Texas called the Alton Coin Exchange. You can find it listed under our profile.
  6. Dropped in another bid. Hope it helps and good luck.
  7. Congrats to the winners, and thank you for the contest. Chuck and Wanna, Team cache_in_hand
  8. That wouldn't be Lake Hancock just outside of Lakeland would it?
  9. My suggestion for the trip back, is to stop at Arches National Park in Southeast Utah, just South of I-70 near Moab. In particularly, Delicate Arch (GCJG49 and GC177KB) Then as you head on East through Colorado, stop at the great divide, and stand on top of the world. (GC1DBA a short walk at 12,000 feet).
  10. Having failed at conventional meltdown techniques, Cache_in_hand is forced to resort to more radical methods. Moral of the story "When its this darned hot out, Theres no place like home" Coin number 11 picked up from Alton coin exchange, now dropped off in Arch Cerberus
  11. Thank you for the info. We submitted the information and the waypoint was accepted and approved as WMP74. We are very excited.
  12. We discovered a USACE benchmark while looking for a cache in a wildlife management area. The marker was set in 1968 and has an ID designation of Q-296-E Its coordinates are N 33 13.406 W 097 00.948 We took a picture of the disc and we were wondering if there was a way to log it as a find? Didn't know how to post the picture here, but it can be seen under the gallery of cache GCV84E
