  1. As long as you don't have people putting pictures of naked peeps in it, it's not actually on the beach, and its labeled clearly that there could be the possibility of seeing naked bodies, then go for it.
  2. Don't take anything of value, and only take it if you will put it to good use: I've taken a Jeep KeyRing once, but I have been using it on my keyring ever since. If its something you will never use again or are just going to move to another cache, leave it.
  3. eBay is usually safe for an inexpensive GPSr. it can be a little cheaper, but as the units get more and more expensive the price gap between a seller on ebay and a regular supplier will decrease. as for checking the seller's rep goes, take a look at the feedback left. if there are a lot of identical feedbacks left from a lot of diffrent users, be wary and check for more repetition and read the negative feedback. if they've gotten a negative sandwiched between repeats, do not buy from them, they probably spammed themselves with good feeback inbetween awful real sales.
  4. OP's identical failure using Firefox 2.0 eliminates IE as a suspect. klossner's right; if FireFox 2.0s not working, its something else. Try his idea; go to the image link he posted above and see if it shows. if not, you've somehow gotten the images blocked by something.
  5. I have not placed that many caches, but I have chosen spots that I have already visited multiple times before even considering a cache: they are areas of intrest or value, even if only for me. I do not like to see caches placed with the "just because I can" reasoning. very rarely do I see a good randomly placed cache. There are some quick grabs that I have seen placed by some that I have not even considered going out to find; they contain a one-sentence explination of the location and the coords, and maybe the type of container it is in. I do not consider them real "finds"; they are usually outi n the open, poorly hidden, and easily found by muggles and destroyed quickly. Think "what entertainment will this cache provide?" if the answer is none, or will just help increase someones count, I would suggest not doing it, or at least make it a puzzle or multistage cache.
  6. this would be something fun to suggest to anyone doing the diabeties TB Event. I don't know if those Rings would fit in one though, I havn't gotten my Blue ring yet.
  7. must be the perfect cache for a pirate.... speaking of which, who just came along but a GeoPirate!
  8. I think the biggest problem is IE7. Its still got a lot if new problems with pretty random things like images. I suggest removing it from the machine; your windows OS will automatically default to IE 6.
