  1. Maybe you can give me a hint? I tried it with a route and a track and it is not working. Hint: Page 36 of the manual. That's what I tried, of course, but it's not working:I put the GPS mode to "off" and enter a new location manually near GC village. I go to the routes page and activate a route down in the GC. I check on the maps page and can see the route on the map. On the active route page (I tried on all the others also) I press "Menu". But: There is no "Profile" option in the appearing menu... Any other idea?
  2. Maybe you can give me a hint? I tried it with a route and a track and it is not working. For the route there is no "Profile" option in the menu. For the track I can choose the "Profile" option. But on the following profile page, there are only two flags shown without any profile between them. By the way: Both track and route lead down the grand canyon and USA topo 24k NP, West was the only activated map on the 60CSx (FW3.3). Within MapSource (6.12.3) it worked for the route, for the track I can't press the "Show Profile..." button. It's grey. Any idea? Thanks in advance, Mathias
  3. When you hold the mouse cursor over the "PoiLoader.exe" file for two seconds, you will see it (in the windows explorer this is). Another possibility: right click the POILoader button in the Task bar at the bottom of your desktop and choose "About POILoader...".
  4. Then I opened the file again in Photoshop, changed its Mode to "Indexed Color," and selected "System (Windows)" for the palette (I could also have chosen "System (Mac OS)"). This changed the graphic to 8-bit (256 color) mode. I saved the new version of the graphic and when I used it as a custom POI icon, I finally got the magenta portions to display as transparent.Thank you everybody for your hints! But the above quoted was the one, that made the difference! It has to be an 8-bit *.bmp. When you save the file you have to choose this explicitly. Thanks again, now it works!
  5. Nice, great work garmin! Just tested it out and my custom POI icons look much better now that transparency works. How do you do this? When I prepare an *.bmp with magenta and load it with the POI-Loader onto my 60CSx I get an magenta symbol, that's all. I use FW 3.2 and POI loader 2.4.0.1. Thanks for any advice!
