  1. It would be really useful, especially here in the UK (where we have *far* less room than everyone else in the world... ) to have an additional field for parking co-ords in the cache submit page. This could also be useful for folks that use PDAs and have applications like Cachemate or similar as this would enable those clever software-writing people to add another field in the software for parking. If you have an iQue, 'frexample, you get to route to your parking co-ords then just follow the rest of the details to the actual cache. As has already been mentioned, it would certainly not hurt to ignore the parking co-ords if you wanted the extra "challenge" same as you can ignore the decrypt. Also worth noting that none of this is worth getting upset about...
  2. Well done guys! I hope George's feet have returned to normal size now.
  3. Yay and Woo!! Well done guys, hope Annes shoulder gets better soon 'cos then you'll be chasing Seasider!
  4. Woo and Yay to Hornet! C'mon Seasider, yer slackin'!!
  5. It's very contagious! LOL! I just wish I really had a dog now!
  6. AARGH! It's another Rein-Dog!! I knew it was catching!!! Merry Xmas everybody!
  7. Hope you have a great time finding your 100th, especially as your using it as an excuse to walk off yer dinner... By the way, OT I know but Maggie appears to have mutated into what for all the world looks like a Rein-Dog... hope it's not catching!
  8. Yay! It's a gorgeous little pier and the train is only the longest pier-train in the world! As such, it's good news indeed to hear the damage is soon to be rectified! Thanks for that, Sarah. Maybe if another location and some clue-changing can be done, Soton Water Large can get sorted out properly too then the series can be re-enabled... Hmmm, sounds like a worthy task for the new year!
  9. Only 5 times out of 600 caches? That's pretty good going, by anyones reckoning!
  10. I'll pop down over the Xmas break and find out for you.
  11. Unfortunately it won't be possible to take over Southampton Water Small: the pier that it is (or was) located on got cut in two by a dredger at the end of October! There is still an argument over who's going to pay for a new pier, so I wouldn't hold my breath for access to that particular cache... Given the query of Southampton Water Large possibly being on private land, I think the best thing to do (IMHO) would be to permanantly archive the whole series and then someone can make a new cache in the area.
  12. Gordon Bennett! Well done Seasider! That's amazing work!!
  13. So would you rather pay the German Income Tax rate? I believe we pay (on avaerage, depending on income etc) around 23%. In Germany, the maximum is 53% which should drop to 42% in 2005. Of course, I'm no expert on this and I certainly stand to be corrected, but I guess this kinda makes us even with the Germans!
  14. Pharisee hits 400... Happy Birthday John!! Only kidding matey! Well done old chum, gives us all something to aspire to!
  15. Right: I got 50p and half a pint of Theakstons Old Peculiar says you gotta sing "Jingle Bells" at the top of your voice with one trouser leg rolled up and your silly hat on backwards whilst tap-dancing at the Sunnyvale Twilight Rest Home For The Elderly's Annual Christmas Do on Saturday afternoon. Same every year, eh John? It's no use: they still won't let you out!
  16. Fantastic article! Really well written, and I especially like the summary of the last line...
  17. Well, I've not had plastic surgery, so i must've done it in the dark! Quick check o' the log verifies this, also verifies that I didn't fall in the water so it's perfectly safe for anyone else to do at night!
  18. I'm here too... but I already started on the beers, Bill! Bit wet n windy for night-caching...
  19. ...and 13016_13A is Michael from Dutch Courage.
  20. 25004_1A is Paul n Judith, rather than The Hurigan Hoopers... and 20009_6A is Brackens Bunch. How did you recognise me anyway?
  21. Shame to see Team Nia leave: you guys set some great caches and some good examples... I could take on the Southampton Water series if you like: any excuse to take the odd trip over the water to do a bit of maintenance!
