  1. Congrats! Guess we should all club together and get you a bunch of Mctoys... First cache I ever heard of that was hidden in a cabbage patch!
  2. Nice going guys! Hope you enjoy the next 100 as much!
  3. Don't hold back Stuey, say what's on your mind! Blimey, I hope anyone who finds one of my mistakes will be so forgiving!
  4. LOL! Nice one Stuey!! I'll send that to my squaddie brother... he loves the marines: no really!
  5. Thanks for the heads-up, guys. A quick visit to Sophos for the appropriate patch and I should be OK now. If anyone else is running Sophos, go here for the appropriate disinfector.
  6. Sound advice John! 'Spose you could say the key to a good paint job is the key...
  7. Well done Liz.... Aww OK then, if I must: Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Doooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnneeeeeeee Lizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
  8. I'll have some Ammo boxes for sale, just in case you missed my postings elsewhere.
  9. Only problem there is that any EGNOS signals you pick up are still in test mode, and as such may contain deliberate errors. This means your GPS may well *think* it's accurate down to a few feet but in reality could be out by maybe 100ft... best to wait until the full EGNOS system is up and running before you go trusting your accuracy to that extent!
  10. Mind you it sometimes feels like 200 years when you are actually looking for the dratted thing! Sorry, did you say "Lofty"?
  11. Forgive me for going OT, but I couldn't resist: "An Englishman thinks 200 miles is a long way, an American thinks 200 years is a long time" Of course, it never took anyone (not even me) 200 years to find a cache yet...
  12. Anyone interested in updates to the EGNOS system can read all about it here.
  13. Well done! You're clearly hooked now, so onwards for 200!
  14. Hey, what you doing still up Keith? (a) It's past your bedtime and ( the wee small hours are only populated by strange people wearing camo...
  15. Oooo I love setting and finding multis, in particular the aspect of the guided walk. If you're careful, you can set up your cache to follow a really nice walk in a really pretty area and folks will get more from that than a standard cache 'n' dash IMHO. Choice is yours, really. You may also wish to bear in mind the extra "work" involved in finding a multi will put off some cachers, so you'll get less visitors. Also you may find a tad more maintenance is required on a multi, especially if your clues refer to signposts and info boards that can get changed on a whim. Trust me on that one! As Stu says, it's horses for courses and entirely your choice.
  16. Certainly not! Cheeky swine! I'll have you know insanity doesn't run in my family... *ahem*
  17. <uncharacteristically picky> Century? Millenium more like! </uncharacteristically picky> You never know, they may even beat Hornet or Seasider to the big 1000!
