Welcome to our little adictive world The Etrex line is pretty good when it comes to caching (IMHO). I personally use the eTrex Legend and it's served me well. In addition, it has mapping so you don't need additional paper maps.

As far as knives, I carry a Buck Adrenaline in my pocket at all times and a Buck Juno in my bag as a backup. In addition to the knives my Kershaw Multi-tool is always close at hand, mostly for extracting caches in wierd places. For Flashlights I carry a Garrity LED Aluminum most of the time in a belt carrier and an Innovage 3-LED Headlamp in my bag for those night-time caches.

I've seen the same thing and each time the first thing I've thought of is SWAG and how big the cache needs to be for it to go into. I'll probably be picking some up myself to throw in my bag

Welcome to the addiction we all call Geocaching The penlights sound good, but I have some reservation about the pocket knives, I would consider a knife non kid friendly and we all know how kids like to get their hands on stuff, this might not be the wisest choice to put into a cache. Happy Caching

To answer your question, I'm not entirely sure, I haven't found a Micro as of yet Here's what I'll be leaving in the Cache's I find... if they fit that is. If by some chance they don't fit, I'll probably make up some handcrafted poker chips.

I believe at the local Wally Mart they're about $26.00 plus the cost of the laminating sheets (I want to say a buck something for 50). For the self laminating sheets they're about 4.75 for a 10 pack. Depending on how many you would use and make it might be worth getting the laminating machine. I'll show off my signature card when I get home and have access to it
