  1. Hi, by my mistake I sent Found It log entry to my own cache listing instead of Owner Maintenance. What was my surprize, when I couldn't change it from Found It -> Owner maintenance. Just Didn't Find It or Write Note. The log must be deleted and one have to place new, proper type of log. This is excellent feature, guys! Should I continue to pay for this crap?
  2. Strange, I never get notifications on caches I found. Do you have those caches on a watch list? No, I have nothing on the watch list. One of my notifications is for Traditional caches - published, enabled, disabled. That's it. I.e. GS is spamming me about enabled listing of the cache I've found 2 years ago. Why??? I don't want this. You actually have 3 notifications setup for a variety of cache types. Check it out here: http://www.geocaching.com/notify/default.aspx Also, you appear to have a secondary email address associated with your account which is shared by as many as 32 other geocachers. Yes, I have setup 3 notifications, and ???? Why are you keep sending me notifications about my found caches? I would appreciate any type of kind help, not to point at me "hey, you have 3 notifications etc. etc.". I assume, I can have more than one e-mail address, right?
  3. Then turn that notification off. You are invaluable You know that?

  5. If the whole concern is bandwidth, GS please be so kind and stop sending me notifications about caches which I've found. I am not interested. This will be very appreciated and I am asking this for several years. If I am mistaken and this option already exist, I apologize and would like to know how to set this thing up. Thx.
  6. I reported them to Groundspeak as well. This is a bot logging. Their account should be shut down immediately. It is abusive behavior and I really shame that it came from my country.
  7. They probably didn't read this today (from the Our Management Ethos): Here are some "hows" we strive to embrace while we do our work: Create – great products, great services, a great environment to work in Share – our ideas, our adventures, our world Care – about how we treat each other, our user community and the environment in which we all live Resolve – problems and issues by proposing solutions and being open to other people's ideas Recognize – each other's contributions and collaboration Own – our ability to be part of the solution, own up to our mistakes Strive – to keep improving
  8. McDonald's has built an entire multi-national corporation based on people paying for lousy food. Guten Apetit!
  9. One of the worst possible comparisons. There could be one or two dozen competing restaurants nearby that you could patronize instead. Geocaching has no practical competition. Yet we still get to complain when they fumble the ball (it does make me feel better to complain occasionally), and they get it mostly fixed eventually. You have very few choices here. Pay or not. Play or not. Really? So far I know, I can play even without being PM and have nothing to pay. But I'd be ashamed to want money for something which is not providing service as it should. Sorry, that's the story. Also, what is wrong with the right column again (on the http://www.geocaching.com/my/ page). Why is it so wide?
  10. According to Jeremy, the migration to the new server is supposed to take a couple of weeks, so it's likely still in progress. All this and other changes are fine, but me, as a paying member, it is totally corrupting what I am expecting from payed service. Why should I notice any negative changes when I expect all will run smoothly? If you are at the restaurant, will you accept poor food when you have to pay for it?
  11. Why is loading of the pictures taking so much time? This is a tragedy!!! Also the server 'banman5.groundpeak.com' is very slow. Cache pages load quickly, but the images - it's a pain!
  12. They probably run out of line breaks and white space used on other pages I appreciate the post from obsidianspider, I second this. Good idea, but I am affraid it will remain unheard.
  13. May be, this is the reason why the update is not as expected by most people: 13482: "About Groundspeak" on geocaching.com Updated number of reported Groundspeak employees from 20+ to 40+ (no we did not all clone each other)
  14. The empty column is for the "Found it" mark This will be fine, but I listed not found caches yet, so there will be never this sign.
  15. There are some empty columns in the tables (this is from All Geocaches): All in all, the whole update is not a design update, there are no margins, paddings, borders. To print a complete page is a mess, nevertheless that the print produces now 7 pages instead of 3 before, i.e. I am glad to use my own styles on FF so that the pages doesn't look so abecedarian .
  16. Looks fine here using IE8. Blame your employer. I am using IE8 right now and I'll not say it is lloking good! Anyway, why is the most right collumn on all pages so wide. WHY?????
  17. The printing of an simple listing is terrible . Good old system!!
  18. The above mentioned is working, but wth is with the dates in the list of caches - a cache found yesterday is today reported as found today. At this time it should be marked as 'yesterday'. It worked fine before the changes. Also, what is with the speed? Takes much longer to display a page.
